Como Crossings at Hawk's View Golf Club
About
Como Crossings is the 18-hole championship course at Hawk's View Golf Club. It is the only five-star rated course in Lake Geneva. The club's other course, Barn Hollow, is also an 18-hole course but it offers a unique short game layout that is great for beginners and juniors. Como Crossings sprawls across rolling hills covered with mature vegetation and woodlands. Lakes and wetlands also dot the course, coming into play on seven holes. There are also strategically placed bunkers lurking along the greens. The front nine is more open while the back nine becomes more wooded and hilly. The course features some especially tricky par 3s, especially the 17th hole. It is a golf course that requires accuracy though it is forgiving with safe options on the left or right of most holes.

My New Lake Geneva Golf Getaway !
I never played this course and it was plenty challenging for me. The good thing though is that I think I can do much better next time but no matter what it will be challenging. Course was in decent shape for this time of year and I made a par on the toughest hole which will keep me coming back! I really enjoyed the round!
Top tier course
Very well maintained despite lots of pick marked greens in mid-afternoon. Failure to repair ball marks was a common theme in the Lake Geneva area the past few days. Greens fast and true.and we’ll rolled. 90 degree cart path rule was fine and this is NOT a course to walk. Pace of play was a little slow towards the end due to two groups of five foursomes ahead making it close to a five hour round. Staff were very friendly throughout and will definitely return to play this course.
The course was wet as their were thunderstorms earlier today. Carts were cart path only. Overall the course was in good shape considering al the rain that had fallen just before our tee time. Very picturesque holes, friendly staff. A very enjoyable experience.
Pace of Play
Beautiful course with great conditions and lovely layout, BUT
1. pace of play was very bad, ranger did not do his job well and 2. tons of divots on greens, people don’t realize that they should leave the course better than they found it. Besides that, a must play course!
Great track!!!
7 am tee time course in great shape . Cart girl back nine, twosome played in 3:20 min. Everything was good!!
Good course
Cut the rough down a bit, get the tee boxes in better shape, don’t charge $6 for a Red Bull, pass out divot repair markers for the FIBS to use. Those are the things that I would change or fix. Otherwise, it is a fun course that kicks the Brute’s butt any day of the week.
Excellent value and quick pace of play
Course is in excellent condition and got around in well under 4 hours …great pace of play add friendly staff. Best value in town
Best course in LG
I love this course its the best for the money in LG
Great course awesome visuals
I really enjoyed this course. There's a lot of elevation changes. The greens had good speed and very consistent. I'll be looking to head back across the border to play this course again!
Pace: 4some ahead of us showed up late and rather than send us out ahead of them, the ranger held us up to allow them to tee off first. Our tee time was delayed by almost 10 minutes because another group was late. Only complaint. Still, we finished in just under 4 hours.
Conditions: Excellent. Tees, fairways and greens all great. The bunkers seem more like small pebbles than sand. That's different, but they were well maintained.
Staff: Got me checked in and on my way.
Value: The full rate is maybe a bit high, but if you find a deal (or tee off after 1pm) those are reasonable.
Layout: Amazing. Fun elevation changes. It's awesome how the back 9 works its way up the hill. Great par 3s and par 5s. You cannot walk this course, though. Too hilly, too much room between tee boxes, and I don't think they allow it.
The driving range is unique, as you hit up/into this hill.
Would recommend this course as the "must play" if you are in the Lake Geneva area.
Love this course
The place is lovely, fairways in great shape, the people could not be more friendly, pace of play was prefect. From the black tees, it was pretty challenging so I moved to the blue tees for the second 9. One beautiful view after another.
My only complaint is the foursome behind us played music that I could hear nearly the entire time. That needs to stop. It's up to the ranger to say something.
Overall, it was a lovely day on a great course
