About
Blue Mash Golf Course is the Rockville area's premier public offering. This Arthur Hills design combines links-style, parkland, wooded, and water holes. With such an interesting variety, the course is enjoyable for golfers of all different tastes and skill levels. With no forced carries, it's even a manageable course for beginners and high handicappers, while more seasoned golfers will be challenged by the length from the back tees, the well protected elevated greens, and the plentiful strategically placed bunkers. Water also comes into play on a few holes. The diverse mix of holes makes Blue Mash G.C. a true shotmaker's layout. In addition to the golf course, Blue Marsh is known for having one of the best practice facilities in all of Maryland. It features a 10,000-square-foot putting green, an all-grass-tee driving range, and a separate area for practicing your short game.

Great Course but Need More Cold Drinking Water on the Grounds
I love this course and the staff goes above and beyond the regional standard for public courses,
However, we had an over 90 degree day and coolers on the course were running out of water. The beverage cart was not around nearly enough on this hot day.
The last three holes were a struggle, mainly because we were all out of water and the cooler on the #15 tee was totally empty. We did not see the beverage cart anytime after the #14 hole.
Tee boxes, fairways, greens and bunkers are excellent condition, as always.
Get more coolers on the course please, and please get a couple of coolers of water on the practice areas as well.
The course was designed very well!
Everything was great, can’t wait to get back on!!
Played with 3 great golfers who made it fun!
Being a women most men don’t like to play with , they were fun and helpful!
Disappointing
I have played Blue Mash on several occasions in the past, albeit this is the first outing there this year. The pace of play was poor, which was not entirely unexpected given the holiday; however, the ranger did not actively try to make things better. Our electric cart lacked sand/sand holders, died after 5 holes, and the replacement cart had issues with the right front tire. The portapotties had no sanitizer.
Top notch Course
Layout is fantastic. The course is in outstanding condition.
I would recommend highly.
Making tee time through golf now
Golf now allowed me to make the tee time online through rheir site but would not allow me to use the credits i had on the account to pay the green fees.. Golf now is a ripoff.
I cannot recomend the site.as their policies are deceptive.
The course was in very good shape except the greens were still recovering from being aerated. I was able to use my TeeTime Pass book, but I was told I could only use it as a walkon and couldn't make a reservation with. I was shocked at how much the senior rate had gone up since last year by $20 to $74. I was told the regular rate was now $84, which is way too high. Golf is getting very expensive almost everywhere.
The Most Beautiful Course in Maryland?
I played the course while greens were being plugged and sanded. It made a challenging putting course untenable. To be fair, I was offered a discounted rate of $44, but was limited to playing the front 9. I'm not sure if I would have booked the tee time had there been full disclosure. Other than that...how did you like the play, Mrs. Lincoln?
It was a beautiful day. The staff was really friendly. The course has a lovely lynx feel to it. It's challenging but fair and best enjoyed by low-mid handicap players. Good shots are rewarded, but bad shots are not punished too harshly.
I will be back to see the course in a few weeks when the greens are rolling better.
