Coyote Run Golf Course
About
Located just 40 minutes from downtown Chicago, Coyote Run Golf Course is one of the area's best golf values. At just under 6,478 yards from the back tees, the course is challenging enough for the scratch golfer but gentle enough for less advanced players to approach with confidence. Each of the three tees offers a unique look and feel, providing plenty of variety. Water plays a prominent role on the golf course, coming into play on a total of 11 holes beginning with the opening hole. The tee shot on this par 4 requires a carry over water to a generous landing area. Careful course management and skillful approaches to the sloped greens are the key to doing well on this layout. Coyote Run G.C. also boasts a lighted driving range with grass tees and four target greens, practice putting and chipping greens, and even a three-hole practice course.

Great course, nice layout.
My favorite course in area. Always in great condition.
Course is manicured like a country club
Not a long course but nice layout nice size greens bunkers with sand in them tee box manicured just a well kept course great value for the money and very walkable staff very friendly
Challenging course
Challenging course, lots of sand and water! Nicely kept
Good Muni track/great condition and pace
Course played fast, 3 hours for a 3some. Condition was very good for a place that gets a allot of play. Will be back for sure
Course was in great shape love the layout would recommend for play
Nice Course
This was my first time visiting and I will be going back. Pace of play was good and the Corinth of holes were nice as well. Everything was well kept and even though I don’t want to hit out of bunkers they were soft and nice to get out of. Will be going back very soon.
The most disappointing round of golf based on we had 2 threesomes tee off in front of us by the third hole they joined up together and slowed the entire course and even worse a ranger was out there and never broke them up and moved them along . When I did complain all they said was we are sorry inexcusable. This had also happened to my son and his friends while playing out here . 25 min per hole is insanity especially when the hold up group had at minimum 2 holes completely open in front of them. Never again
Yote
Great course, forgiving off the tee, challenging for sure, shot my PR 79 on June 33rd
Well Kept and Good Value
First time playing this course. Nice mature track in impeccable shape. Good bunkers which are often a problem at public courses. We teed off early and pace of play was excellent. Greens were in good shape, although some group before us wasn't fixing ball marks. On a course, this well-kept a patron, should try to fix marks. Certainly not the course's fault, and greens otherwise rolled true. I would play this course again.
Always a pleasure to play
Course in great condition & actively being maintained while I was playing my round early afternoon. They actually turned off the sprinklers to accommodate my shots. Can’t
praise the staff enough. Always a 5 Star experience
Great Course, Nice Conditions
I’m an 17 handicap and it’s challenging enough for me. Always in nice shape. Pace of play is generally acceptable. Nice value
Greens coming back....Fast
After being aerated 3 weeks ago or so, the greens are coming in faster than before and rolling true. Coyote Run is a feel good course that is easily walkable, not particularly difficult and is forgiving for most errant tee shots. The course is in great shape but has more unrepaired ball marks on the greens than most area courses and my group was repairing probably a dozen per hole(more on the par 3's) The traps are full of real sand, and the defined cuts between the rough and fringe (or rough and fairway are well maintained.
The pace of play was good The people here are great, and Coyote Run is a real value. Had an enjoyable day in 94 degrees with a 2 club wind. Coyote Run is headed in the right direction, we will be back often
Great course
I shot the best score ever there . Yay ! Beautiful course
Great track!
This was the first ime coming out to CR this year and it was just as good as last year! Can’t wait to play this course again.
