Not worth price
Definitely overpriced, even for this area. No real driving range: 80 yard hitting cage. Course in good condition, but funky layout. No course layout on score card or online. Been checking the times on daily basis and only 4-6 groups per day. That should tell you something about being overpriced right there! Wanted to see driving range and starting area before signing in, but was told couldn't do it unless had a tee time. Definitely not worth $300 to play. Wonder how long it will take to realize it's overpriced.
Steve Warden
Great place. Great challenge and very awesome greens
Beautiful track
Beautiful track in top notch condition! Greens were huge, somewhat firm but that’s to be expected for a new course. Outstanding staff and the starter Steve gave us a great explanation of what to expect, restrooms, and more. In my years of playing I never met a starter this professional and caring! The rest of the staff was great as well. The course is pricey but then so are many others this time of year. This one was in the best condition of the courses I played on a short trip down! Will come back in the future!
Not nice enough for price
Everything about course/clubhouse was nice, but for $350 was expecting more. Nothing really remarkable about it except interesting rivetted faced waste bunkers {good} and fully netted baby {80 yard max) driving range (terrible)
First Time Played
I went as a single and the 3 folks I joined couldn’t have nicer. We all played the Blues and the 6200 length was very fair. It was windy and some par 4’s weren’t’ reachable in 2. I’m not sure that really mattered but it’s a nice excuse 😂 . I never played Raptor Bay but as I was told this is a totally different course. Most of the holes had minimal blind shots with the exception of a few dog legs. There were a few tight landings but all in all very fair. The greens were hard and didn’t hold shots so play short. The greens rolled great and putts were true. Pace of play was 3:50. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I’d definitely play it again!
Great golf course, great staff. The starter, Tony, was extremely helpful and courteous and quickly found me another twosome to join when the threesome I was originally paired with was a no show. The course is challenging, especially in the wind, but fair and the greens are fast and in pristine condition. I will definitely play this course again and highly recommend it to any golfers out there.
