highly recommended
This is a fantastic facility - from practice range with brand new balls, the views through to the quality and condition of the course. The greens hold well and are true and quick. One of my all time favourites!
Great Course
Great mountain course, Staff was very friendly and helpful. Course was very fun to play and challenging.
Great setting
Great online deal with lunch and beer at turn for $75. Otherwise overpriced as a guest at $98 like every other course charging more than $75.
Great facility and great staff!
Great Test of Golf
Fantastic Palmer course in Eagle. You must have a variety of shot making ability for the quickness of the greens and elevation changes. Be prepared to take a beating your first trip out as course knowledge really helps with ball placement.
Definitely playing again if the opportunity comes up.
Delightful Course
The course was in good shape and fun to play. Most of the holes are challenging for all levels of players. The par 3's are all challenging!
Pleasant surprise!
We have lived/golfed in England the past 38 years, now permanently relocating in Colorado Springs to fulfill dreams of mountain life /blue skies. Taking a few days to explore / become acquainted with Rocky Mountain courses with husband who is a keen 10 handicapper and revels in challenging courses! We were not disappointed with Eagle Ranch, especially the back nine. One of those courses we would love to tackle again and conquer the very tricky greens. The Buggy GPS system is brilliant. Also impressed with the strong emphasis on rate-of-play, hole by hole.
This course has a beautiful view!
A challenging course in a beautiful mountain setting.
We thoroughly enjoyed the day and the introduction to Eagle Ranch Golf course.
Must play in Eagle, CO
Thoroughly enjoyed this course. Generous fairways, slick greens. Several sets of tees, played yellows. Probably will move up to blues next time. Saw a few walkers but wouldn't encourage that for flat landers on vacation. Some holes on back climb in elevation and there is distance between some greens and next tee boxes. Friendly staff from guys in pro shop to ladies in the grill to marshals and cart girls.
Great course and facility! One of my favorites!
This course is kept in great shape and has great views! I've played there mostly in the late afternoon and it's just gorgeous! Practice facility is great and every staff member I've encountered has been friendly and helpful. The holes are all unique, giving you a good variety of shots and ways to play the hole. Definitely a top on my list for the area!
Seriously Impressed
Played here on a family trip. Got a deal on golfnow, and found this course to be very nice. It was in immaculate shape - no divots to be found on the tee boxes or fairways, greens were pristine, no busted tees or random stuff laying around anywhere. The course has plenty of elevation changes, water and rolling terrain which makes it way better than most courses I've played. I could play here every day and not get bored. There was hardly anybody out there and as a bonus the cart attendant cleaned my clubs when I was done.
Quick, tricky greens on this mountain valley course
Not the pizzazz of its sister course, the River: not a trail of discovery winding through the woods and foothills. But a beauty of its own laid out all in front of you up and down the side of a grand valley surrounded by mountain peaks. Faster, trickier greens made it a tougher course for me. Three elevated tee boxes add some drama, especially #4, shooting down from the rim rock to the valley floor. Holes 9 and 18 are risk reward around a mountain lake; 9 a driveable par 4 and 18 a par 5 over and around the water. Good stuff.
The Eagle Ranch Golf Course has great greens and fairways. The staff at the Driving Range and at the counter were frendly
I enjoyed playing the.course, it was testy and in very good shape.
Nice golf course
Great value for the money..some of the greens were sanded perhaps in hopes of fixing. Be careful with the guy handling food and beverage at the pro shop!! I got cheated of my $20 bill when I asked him to give me bottle of Gatorade !!
Challenging course, beautiful views.
Played for the first time on a Friday. Returning Monday to play it again. Very challenging but enjoyable. Friendly staff and excellent food.
Nice course!!
This course was harder than it looks at first. It is a links type course, if you don't keep it in the fairway say good bye to your ball due to the tall grasses and water. But a very fun course to play. The personnel were great, extremely friendly and helpful. I liked the fact that the range balls are included in your green fees. If you are going to book around 2-3 PM. you should check to see if their First Tee program is teeing off so you don't get stuck behind the kids. But they only play 9 holes and it opens up nicely after that.
Eagle Ranch
An above average experience at a very good golf course. This is one of the best Arnold Palmer courses in one of the most beautiful settings. I have played here before and declare it one of my favorites!
Great experience
Eagle Ranch is not fancy, but it sure is fun. It's a great combination of links holes in the valley with several holes up and down the mountains. It's well maintained for a municipal course and the staff is good. I've played the course about five or six times in the last 10 years and have always enjoyed it.
Enjoyed playing this course
Enjoy playing. The course was in the best shape that I have seen
Great bang for your buck
Very nice course with an incredibly friendly staff
Very nice course with very fast greens. Nice challenge! I will play this again when in the area.
