About
Sunland Golf and Country Club in Sequim, Washington weaves through an elegant retirement community. Originally opened as a nine-hole course in 1971, the second nine was added a few years later and in 2009, the course opened its doors to the public. The layout was designed by A.V. Macan, who contributed several notable courses throughout the Pacific Northwest including Firecrest in Tacoma and Broadmoor in Seattle. Sunland is known for its plush fairways and well manicured greens. The layout can be challenging if hitting straight isn't your strong suit. The landing areas are quite narrow with homes and cedar trees throughout the course. In addition to the golf course, Sunland also boasts one of the best practice facilities on the Olympic Peninsula, which includes an expansive outdoor driving range with grass tees.

Beautiful and green. Narrow at times. Leave the driver in the bag. Staff was great. Burger was great. Houses everywhere. Cant wait to play again

Well maintained course. At this time amenities are limited as is the case everywhere, but I really enjoyed the layout. I kept my driver in the bag most of the day. This course has many lined fairways and an offline tee shot will most certainly put you back a stroke. Great par 3's and overall think Sunland is a great course and a very good value.
Better communication with staff
I felt like I let down my couple of golfing friends when we got in the clubhouse because the lady working the desk questioned me in regards to getting a cart included in the Golfnow deal. I had to show her on my phone as proof to the deal. I felt embarrassed & questioning myself since I didn’t bring my own cart.Thankfully everything went well. Tonight I read a review on the course and guess what someone else got questioned even more. I will go back but I hope the staff will have better communication with Golfnow about what kind of deal they are offering

A wonderful round on a beautiful day with a nut bag course that was well-kept, I’d recommend this course to anyone who would like to play in the sun belt of Sequim

Extremely Disappointing
Drove 40 minutes away to arrive being questioned about my discount. Then was told it did not include cart.. hot deal does actually include it. I had to show them multiple times my confirmation. Finally started playing an was stuck behind a rude group that would allow me as a single to pass..
After an hour being only thru 3 hole I care back to the clubhouse to complain about pace... walking in I hear them talking about the hot deal app and how I screwed then over a cart and I should be walking this round.
It was great timing let me tell ya! Lol
Insulted and belittled I left and will never give a dollar back to Sunland
Sequims Best Kept Secret
I decided to play Sunland since it was an AV Macann design and he has many great courses in the NW. The greens were very smooth and rolled very true, it was such a great course and will be playing it more often. Pace of play was just under 4 hours and the course was pretty busy when I was there.
If your in the area you need to take time to play it.
Decent course, very inexpensive, deserted
Course was in good shape, it was very inexpensive, and we were the only ones on it at 9am on a Sunday. Felt a bit post-apocalyptic to be honest it was so deserted. Some holes have houses that are very close, but overall it is great value.
Terrible greens
This course was way overpriced.
The greens had been aerated supposedly two weeks prior but the dimples were very big.
If I would have know how poor the greens were I would have Never played here.
The pro shop staff was very odd and not a pleasure to deal with.
I will stick with Dungeness !!!!
Sunny in Sunland
What a perfect Mother's Day spent golfing at a beautiful course, greens in excellent shape and rolled true. Rough was a little long but it made it challenging. Cannot wait to go back, well worth the drive
Nice Course
Well maintained course not usually open to the public. Lots of homes on the course and some narrow landing areas if your not someone straight.
