Sun Village Golf Course
About
Sun Village Golf Course, although located within a retirement community, offers a challenging game. This par-3 course has three sets of tee boxes to accommodate most skill levels and abilities. It has plenty of water on the back nine, adding to its difficulty. Although the course has homes surrounding it, there is still a laid back and quiet atmosphere. Since the golf course is aimed towards seniors, it is easy to walk although it does have a winding layout that some golfers get lost on. The Sun Village Golf Course being only for seniors is a misconception though, since the course offers a good game.

Awesome course !
Beautiful low key golf course. Great for practicing your iron play. Staff was awesome and friendly.
Par 3 only. When I was thinking it was regular course.
Please, this is the second time I book this location, my first time I cxld it, the second time I invite a guess thinking it was a full course to find out at the entrance.
Please, stop listening this course as regular. This should have a logo to differentiate from a regular 18 hole.
It’s even a walking course, my guess was disappointed and end it at hole 9.
Please redo the booking on this course.
Thank you.
Another great round of golf at Sun Village
My wife and I play have played here several times. It is a great course for walking and a great course for sharpening your short game. The staff is very nice and the course is always in great shape.
First time, will be back
Went after work on a Wednesday and played 18 in about 2 hours. Most holes are 85 - 120 yards with the longest being on 17th hole at about 165 yards I belive. If you hit an errant shot you won't be hitting off of hard pan dirt. Literally grass everywhere that was well manicured. Only complaint was that bunkers were not easy to hit out of. Pretty hard sand... easy course for beginners like myself. I'll be back again soon though!
Love this course!
Always a fun time, but it was extremely slow play. Likely a combination of frost delay and fully booked. Waited on every hole.
Nice little course.
Nice par 3 course. The front 9 is nicer than the back 9.
Fun Course - quick round
Sun Village is a short 18-hole par 3 course that is fun to play. It has some challenging holes and many easy holes. The course is in good condition. The front nine is a little quirky running through the neighborhood, but easy enough to find the way. The back nine has a lot of water (and thus a lot of goose droppings). The people are friendly and depending on who is in front of you, you can move through the course at a good pace.
Decent short game primer
You need quite possibly only 4 clubs to play this course. It would be fine to see more variation in the layout BUT, and I emphasize this - the short game challenge is where it's at here. Deep greenside bunkers, plenty of hazards from which to work out the kinks in your pitching game make this course worthy of the effort. I would like to see a rougher rough but being in Arizona I get it.
My son’s first round of golf
We loved playing Sun Village! It was a great first round for my son as he was able to use all of his clubs on this short course. We will be back!
