Good course but next to zero guidance
I enjoyed the golf on this beautiful course that has so much potential. 2nd course in 10 days with next to no guidance for visitors I.e. no scorecard (pro shop shut) or map; nothing on tees re distance or shape of hole; and a number of holes closed but no markings or warnings this. Really frustrating
Great Course
Really enjoyed this course. Considering the amount of rain we've had the course was in remarkably good condition. Very interesting mix of holes and lovely par 3s. The greens were also in incredibly good condition given the time of year.
The staff I met were very friendly and helpful, didn't use the clubhouse but the pro shop looks good. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the course and will be back in the summer to play it at its peak.
Ruined by slow play
It's a nice course in good condition but some members clearly don't understand golf etiquette in terms of letting faster players through. A 4 hour round for a relatively short course is ridiculous and not letting someone through and making them wait 5 minutes or more on most tees, sometimes because you are having a chat on the green after holding out, is quite rude and arrogant. I'm sure I was just unlucky but the committee may want to remind their members about letting faster players through.
Ruined by slow play and poor etiquette
This is a nice course an decent condition which I have played before. It is enjoyable and the staff are always welcoming and friendly, But unfortunately at least some of the members don't seem to have a grasp of golfing etiquette, specifically, letting faster players through. There were numerous occasions I had to wait 5 minutes or more on the tee or fairway and on more than one occasion the group in front simply stopped for a chat (for several minutes) before leaving the green and allowing me to play. I don't think I'm alone in thinking that's actually quite rude and arrogant. If you are happy to take 4 hours for a round, this is the place for you: if not, there are plenty of courses nearby where most members do understand good etiquette.
2 ball at Braehead GC
I had not been to this course for a few years but found it good condition plus the greens were in excellent condition. Tee boxes were a bit worn as were bits of the course but good use of GUR markings made it very playable.
Barman in the clubhouse was very friendly although his female supervisor was very obnoxious, total jobsworth.
A great afternoon's golf, once we got past the very slow 4 ball in front. Value for money at £14.99 pp.
Would recommend this course for anyone looking for a game.
Much appreciated

Easter Friday
Great weather and had a perfect run through the full 18 thanks to good pace of play.
Course was in great condition with a couple GuR at points which should improve over the coming weeks
Great round. Thank you
Enjoyable course
Only 12 holes, winter routing. Very enjoyable. Staff very friendly and lovely soup and a toasty for a fiver.
First Time Playing Braehead
Was my first time playing Braehead and my first round of golf in over 5 years. It was a very pleasurable round starting with the kindness of the staff on the pro shop. Course was playing very nicely and it’s a fantastic layout with lovely views of stirling. Would highly recommend playing this course. It was fantastic value for money and I will 100% be back.
good course with the approach shots to the greens and the greens quite tricky for a first time player.
The view from standing at the highest point was such lovely sights that I can see the reason why 4 holes either start or end there.
Worth a visit if in Dunblane
Nice Course
Course well looked after and layout easy to follow. Each hole is challenging as undulating and most slope away to lowest point. There is some shared greens but are generally very tricky to play but fair.
Really enjoyed our round and will play again.
Braehead braw
Easily located near the foot of the picturesque Ochills. Friendly and extremely helpful club professional. Course challenging and excellent condition for time of year. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and relaxed into the course, played some of my better shots. Looking forward to regular visits.
Superb VFM for such an attractive course.
Lovely mature parkland course in good condition. Greens were especially good and challenging at times. Terrible weather didn’t spoil the round and I’ll be back soon.
First time playing in a long time.
First time I’ve played here in a long time. I understand that the time of year course isn’t up to it’s full potential but when you have winter mats that are soaking wet or even under water, it’s hard to play off. Even the surrounding area was very slippery to get to the mat.
Very friendly
The Pro was very welcoming and the course played well considering it's winter. Only 12 holes open but I knew that was going to be the case.
Great Course
Had a great time here, good mixture of holes and some good views, particularly at the 10th. Fairways ran fast so was also quite helpful at times! Was fairly busy, had a few parts where the fairway was out of order and not many water obstacles, but overall was a good course!
Horrendous greens
Have played this course many times but today is the worse I have ever seen it.. Greens are horrendous would have been better putting on the fairways tee boxes over grown won't be back avoid if playing in Central Region go to Stirling a bit more expensive or Alloa shawpark good value for money.
Course in excellent condition friendly greenkeepers we both enjoyed the day be back
