The Naemoor at Muckhart Golf Club
About
The Naemoor Course is the latest of the three courses to be built at the Muckhart Golf Club and offers nine different challenges with no two holes running in the same direction.
Muckhart Golf Club has 27 holes comprising three courses of 18 holes on a rotating basis. The Naemoor Course measures 3,205 yards from the back tees. Par is 35.
The third and ninth holes are considered Naemoor's signature holes. No. 3 is a long par 3 to a plateau green. It demands an accurate drive and some careful putting on a sloping green. No. 9 is a par 4 where a good straight drive rewards golfers with a challenging second shot to the green below, with the Ochil Hills providing a stunning backdrop.

Great day out!
Would recommend this fantastic course to low and high handicappers alike. Great setting fantastic views and course was in great condition.
Will definitely be back.
Majestic Muckhart
Played all three of the nine holes but the back nine the ‘Cowden’ has superb views of the hills and very dramatic scenery. Probably the best nine holes I’ve played in Scotland so far. Every keen golfer should pay this place a visit, amazing!!
A hidden gem
A well laid out, thou short layout. Fairways and greens were really good but could have done with yardage markers to assist first timers. Beautiful surroundings and views, coupled with the sunny weather, made this one of my most enjoyable rounds this year
Muckhart Golf club.
Very professional start. - visitor tags and cards all set aside. Well organised , positive and friendly
Course is lovely. Great setting
Just stunning
Fantastic setting for the course which is in great condition. A real gem - try it!
Scenic course
This was a beautiful course we played 18 of the 27 holes .with lunch in between at the comfortable club.. unfortunately a large group outing restricted some of our plans..but still a course worth visiting... would return..
Undulating course with great views
Like many courses, Muckhart has suffered due to lack of sunshine and heat, with the greens patchy here and there, and soft underfoot in some places. However, hard work on the course should mean it will steadily improve over the next month or so.
Course of 2 halves
The course is made up of 3 nine holes course but 18 holes are usually played over the Naemor and Cowden. The first is a classic parkland and the second, although parkland, is quite different in terms of the terrain. Cowden has some tees which are high up and a number of fairways involve playing over large valleys. The greens were in great shape. Would play again.
Fantastic Course with stunning views
Although closely located to Stirling and Perth, this course already feels like its located in the Scottish highlands. The course was in great shape and the staff and members were all really friendly. Definitely a must play.
Definitely worth a visit!
I'd already played the course with my partner in a Mixed Greensomes competition and we were both keen to play the course again. We enjoyed our return visit very much. The course is pretty challenging but a bit easier off the yellow tees!
We didn't use the off course facilities but we found everyone very friendly.
Great little Gem of a course , will be visiting again.
Diamond in the rough
Roads not the best to get to it but when you get there well worth it. Staff were great in the pro shop, courses were challenging and with great views around it. Cowden was in great condition, if I had one bad thing to say ( it's a very small thing) is that the bunker on the 9th on the cowden (which I was in lol) next to the green the underfelt all riped up from under the sand and sitting up above the sand and hiding the ball. But other than that great to play
Muckhart Good course but slow round
Great course, but short in places but very interesting.
Couple of slow groups in front of us meant it took 4 hours 30 to go round.
Fantastic course in the Ochils
The course has 3 x 9 holes. The 18 hole set up on the day was the Naemoor and the Cowden. Both in great condition, especially the greens. Cowden is a very attractive though tighter course (not always suited to my somewhat erratic slice or hook :). I hear the Arndean is better than the Naemoor so look forward to playing that in the near future (though I have absolutely no complaints with the Naemoor)
Great course
This was a fantastic layout course with stunning scenery only small con was quite a lot of blind tee and approach shots otherwise great course.
Choice of courses
Great condition for time of year we had a fourball and everyone enjoyed the course it also helped getting good weather
A great place to play and view the scenery
Friendly staff , good food and a fair challenge made this a course to return to - very reasonably priced
