East Kilbride Golf Club
About
East Kilbride Golf Club playing as a Par 71 is a tough test of golf a parkland course with lots of trees it can be a tough track when the wind blows, and it usually blows. The greens are quite large and are usually in excellent condition. The fairways are generous and plush. Toughest par 3 is number 10 playing at around 200 yds and depending on the wind can be anywhere from a Driver to a 8 iron. #10 green is guarded by bunkers on the left and right. Toughest par 4 #11 from the back tees #11 plays close to 400 yds it is a severe dog leg left with the fairway sloping at a 45 degree angle to the right there are two large trees that guards the dogleg on either side of the fairway. Toughest par 5 # 13 Playing close to 550 from the back tees #13 is uphill usually in to the wind there is a dogleg to the right at around 100 yards from the green this dogleg is protected by trees to the right and a bunker on either side the green is raised and so the pin position is tough to judge. East Kilbride is a good test of golf and I recommend it score out of 10 is 8.

Great Condtion
For mid January the fairways and greens were in great nick. Was very quiet on the Friday afternoon I played so was round in just over 2 hours. Very friendly place as always
Great condition
Played here today with my mate and two others we were paired with through golf now, course was in good condition, greens especially were in excellent condition compared to others I have played at.
Very good for the price we got it at and the two boys we were paired with were brand new. Would play again. Like many parkland courses you have to keep it straight so if you are wild off the tee bring extra balls! A lot of nice par 3s and variety to the holes.
Friendliest Pro Shop
What lovely staff in the Pro shop. A lovely warm friendly welcome . A lovely course , with the back nine being the difficult of the two. A very well groomed course and a good challenge. Only downside, don’t have the fish and chips.
Gem just outside glasgow
The first thing you’ll appreciate is the greens. They are consistent and immaculate. The course is challenging but you appreciate the game. Tee boxes well maintained. Haven’t rated the club house as my tee time didn’t give me the chance to use it. Will try next time
Fantastic Course
I was a member here for 6 months and never got to play as tee times were quickly snapped up! However, after playing this course for the first time as non-member I can understand why it is so busy. It truly is a fantastic course.
The course condition was immaculate, greens were beautiful and well kept.
The course has a fantastic layout and provides golfers of all levels a fair challenge, no two holes are the same and each hole has a variation of characteristics that test your golfing skills.
I HIGHLY recommend this course to anyone.
Great course
Great course in fantastic condition. Lovely layout and a nice challenge. The only reason I scored 3 stars for staff friendliness was because I never seen anyone before teeing off.
We booked a 7:07am tee and the pro shop wasn't open that early so we couldn't book in or get a card. Didn't stop is getting away or stop us enjoying the course any either. Green keepers etc were very friendly and helpful.
3 for off course amenities because the clubhouse wasn't open for even a coffee until 11 so can't score it either.
Thoroughly enjoyed the round and would highly recommend.
A Hidden Gem
First time here..The coarse was in fantastic condition. Fairways and Greens the best I've played on this season so far.. I live down South, and this coarse would be minimum £45.00 to £50..00 no question. I got on for under £30.00.amazing value. Too cheap in my opinion.!
The club pro Graeme. Was so friendly and Helpful, this guy knows his stuff for sure.
Pleasure talking to him.
When I get back up in the area again, will for sure be back..
Nice course
First time playing the course challenging but thoroughly enjoyable..
Top Quality
Very tidy course. Hard but forgiving. Greens were 10/10
Cracking Course
2nd time playing the course in the past few weeks.
Really good track in great condition.
Good range of holes which will give you decent club variety.
Temp Greens should be discounted
The course was abandoned when we arrived and had been placed on temporary greens. At £46/per player I find this to be outrageously expensive. I appreciate GolfNow cant control the weather or what the course officials decide howeverthere should be a contingency to discount bookings should they be unable to play the course fully.
