Great course
Like playing here always in good nick could have a bell at certain holes to let golfers know when your off the green would help .
Great municipal course, with a good variety of holes, although course can be a slog from around hole 13 onwards as some steep hills to climb.
Hilly get electric trolley
Course was in excellent condition considering it was middle of January only 1 winter green. Was grateful to be playing with people who had played before as wouldn’t have had a clue where I was aiming on some of the holes but thoroughly enjoyed the round would and will play again maybe with an electric trolley.
Dalmuir
Very friendly and helpful starter..ive played many many courses including Championships..however, Dalmuir 13 to 18 is the toughest ive ever encountered..huge uphill and severe sloping Par 4s and demanding Par 3s..the greens are difficult to read but in excellent condition..scoring holes are 4 to 12 but still tough..for a tenner a round I rate it outstanding value.
Back 9 Fun layout
Course is in good shape, quite a few fun holes in the back 9. Can make or break the round, played it a few times now with both results.
some great holes
Great course he’ll of a workout with the hills lol but enjoyed it well worth the money
Brilliant for £10
I'm still a rookie and only played a handful of courses, so a pinch of salt perhaps.
Course condition is very, very good, especially for this time of the year and the recent rains.
First 12 holes are very nice parkland with smooth rolling hills. Afterwards it gets tough and super hilly. 14 and 15 and are a very tough loop due to the challenge of the shots plus the gradient/hills to walk between them. It slightly soured the round due to being pretty puffed out. I played with a member who was of an age. He doesn't play past the 12th due to the 'hillwalking' aspect.
There's nothing wrong with the course, it's just a small shock to the system to have the tough hill sections towards the end of the round. Difficulty and conditions are unbelievable for just £10. Go play it!
I will be back again!
Dugs
Dugs dugs everywhere, gonna steal your baw, gonna munch your baws
17 baws lost cos we're rubbish but also no greenkeeper leaves all over the shop and grass like Snoop Dogs gaff
Great First Round
Great, challenging course with a variety of holes. Very friendly and helpful staff. Looking forward to playing again soon
Great day at Dalmuir!
Fantastic course and we really enjoyed our round here. Paul, the starter, was extremely friendly and welcoming and was very accommodating when we were late due to a road accident on the way through from Edinburgh. The course is a real challenge (particularly the hilly last 6). The signature 14th offers spectacular views and is definitely a hole that every golfer should play at some point. Dalmuir can’t be beaten on value for money and we would thoroughly recommend this course for an enjoyable round.
Just Amazing Value
To put this in perspective, 100 balls at the nearest driving range is £11.
The course is in great condition, a couple of tees were a bit rough and ready but overall just amazing value for money. The greens are good, the fairways are well looked after and I will definitely be back.
Great track
Played here many times growing up though haven't played here in a while. Great layout & the wee drap & the gulley are 2 of the best par 3s you'll play anywhere. The condition of the course was good, if you get the chance it's excellent value for money!
Great value for money
Played today with my son who’s a beginner. Some really good holes, some of them very challenging. Will definitely test your fitness on the hilly ones, struggled to get up them tbh says more about my fitness than the course. Greens were immaculate so well done to green keepers.
