St. Croix National Golf Club
About
St. Croix National Golf Course is a championship course that is tucked away amongst rolling, wooded hills. This scenic course is one of western Wisconsin's hidden gems. The undulating landscape covered with mature trees can seem intimidating but the layout was designed with spacious fairways and bailout areas that act as an excellent balance to the more challenging elements. The well conditioned greens putt fast and true, acting as a perfect complement to the beautiful scenery. There are strategically placed bunkers and water hazards coming into play but it is the topography will truly test your accuracy as well as a variety of other skills. St. Croix National G.C. also boasts a driving range perched high above a valley that collects the practice shots. It is the perfect preparation for the challenges of the golf course.

Fun course with great views
We had a great time playing this course. The elevation changes are fun and make you think twice in club selection. The course is good for golfers of all ages and abilities. We will be back.
Best value in the twin cities!
St. Croix national really is comparable to a courses that charge $100 more that this course. Every year it seems to be in better shape than the last and the greens are fast and hold well. Course let’s you hit driver most of the time which I like but has a few holes that make you strategize more as well. My go to course with a bullet!
This course has great features
One of the better ski resort to golf course transitions I've seen. Awsome views, not a good walking course unless you planning on a 6 hr round
Oct. 5
Great course as always. Beautiful weather helps too. Would be 5 stars but for the change to a cashless clubhouse.
Great Course
Loved this course. Being the first time I played it, it was pretty difficult. There are lots of blind shots and you really have no idea where to hit some tee shots without driving up to the fairway first.
aok by me
Really good. green and lush. Greens nice and fast. Only down side tee boxes a bit chewed up.
Used to be a ski hill
To be honest, it’s just not my style of golf. Lots of blind shots. Lots of elevation changes. Hit your drive down a hill with 50 feet of slope only to have to hit back up a hill to the elevated green. Tee boxes were in very rough shape otherwise the course is beautiful!
Great track!
I’ve been playing here since the early-aughts. Course is beautiful and always in very good shape. Was slowed up a bit this time around by a fivesome but still played is little over four hours.
Wonderful course to play golf!!
Beautiful course and layout! Offers many challenges and wonderful views! Tee boxes were in tough shape but the course overall was AWESOME! I would definitely return!
Not for me
At $79, this course is not a good value. The layout is gimmicky with way too many blind shots and silly elevation changes. Yes, I know this was a former ski area. I didn’t enjoy the round at all and left after 9 holes. I know the back 9 is better, but I was done. Tee boxes were in terrible shape. Cart paths were rough. You can tell that not a lot of money is being reinvested back into the course. Too many other great courses in the area.
