Great course !
First time playing here and it was great ! The fairways were beautiful and the greens were fast. The cart girl was always around when we needed her. Afterwords we had food and beers in the clubhouse with great service ! I'll be returning.
Fathers Day at Mee Kwon
The course is in very good condition. It is a quality public venue and is a fair skill challenge as well as playable for all
The cart person however needs serious training and a fair amount of common sense. She never left the back nine on a 95 degree Fathers Day and sold us a candy bar that was pure mush. The suggestion the candy needed be put in the cooler was accepted and ignored as she moved on. You can’t make this stuff up
great course to play
Early in the year this year due top late snow but course was in great shape. Ball washers, signs etc. all in place, staff got us off early and even followed up with a phone call after my partner left his range finder in the cart. Looking forward to playing again.
Poor customer service
I bought two rounds with cart from Golf Now. I received an email that the course was “walking only”. We decided to play. To my surprise the Golf manager told his employees to make sure we paid for push carts $6/each. Wait, we paid upfront for motorized carts which weren’t allowed, but now they were making us pay for push carts. They told us to complain to GolfNow because we brought our rounds from them. Very poor customer service. The manager wasn’t there when we arrived or when we finished. He put his employees in a very uncomfortable situation as they agreed with us. They could have let us use the $6 push cart in place of the prepaid $16 motorized cart without up charging us.
Great October weather
Weather was perfect. Man in pro shop was very nice.
Course was in great condition, greens and fairways.
Lots of elevated greens on front nine, quite hilly, hard to judge yardage. Back nine less hilly. Very nice.
Long drive for us , but worth the trip. Enjoyed drinks in restaurant. Plan on coming back.
Pace of play SLOW!!
We played very well at Mee-Kwon yesterday, but for the life of me, I couldn't believe the course allowed a SINGLE player with her coach, to play the course, especially on a busy SUNDAY!! She continually played 2 or 3 balls and consistently was slowing the 2 of us down to a crawl!! Thankfully she only played 9 holes ...
Good Course
Good course and in good shape. The only problem was with the marshalls who twice told us to pick up the pace but we could not since there was a slow threesome in front of us. He said we were behind by a hole and a half so we sped up slightly and were on top of the next group in one hole.
Immaculate Greens
Haven't played a course this year with better greens. The course is in great shape and is a fun layout.
great value
Course was in great shape. Not a lot of golfers out there. played in under 3.5 hours. Kitchen/bar closed. Caught us off guard at the turn - no food or drink.
Hilly and Fun
Course was in very good condition, tee boxes,
fairways, and greens. Not to much trouble to get into. Won't not lose your ball. Lots of rolling terrain Watch out for hidden sand bunkers near elevated greens. Had a great time, wish it were closer to us. Over an hour away. Drinks were good.
Good county course, but...
This course is decent, but there are other courses in the area that are at least as good, but have better online deals through apps like Golf Now. I would play MeeKwon and its sister course Hawthorne Hills more often if their deals were inline with comparable courses in the area. As long as I am not picky about tee times, I can play some courses for $20 for 18 holes with a cart. While this is an excellent deal, I would expect Meekwon Park to have deals in the $30 range with the occasional great deal.
Overpriced?
Muni golf course in early spring should not be $40. And that was with golf now discount.
Very Playable
For early Spring the course was in good condition. Didn't lose any balls and very little water. Just enough sand to make it interesting but not onerous.
Great Shape
By far the one of the best conditions I've played on all year. I play on the Armature Golf Tour , and the tee boxes, and greens were the best conditions all year. For a public county course, the upkeep and grooming was better the any private course I've played all year.
Hot sunday
Great spot- good price/ value.
Very scenic and fun elevation changes.
