Great course for winter golf
Course was in great condition despite heavy rainfall the night before, well drained and not waterlogged. A little confusing at times for a first time visitor to the course with holes crossing over each other. Very enjoyable game, very flat and easy to walk. Will visit again.
Brilliant
Great course, very flat and great condition. Will definitely return to play.
Remains a good course
Think I’ve reviewed before , still like course. Nice and flat , not the hardest parkland, but that suits me. Little more expensive than before but not long after lockdown so thats OK.
Better condition than some more expensive courses , recommended
Course was in great condition. Also it is really flat. Its a hidden gem Ill be defo back
Great Day At Ballymena
From the first hole to the last, this was a great day out. We had a warm welcome from the staff. The course was in great condition, the fairways cut short and the greens were perfect. And although a flat course, there are plenty of doglegs/trees to cause upset.
A lot of the par 4s were well under 400 yards, so for us that was ideal . We didn't fed up hitting 5wood after 5wood into each green. We used a variety of clubs, sometimes up to a pitching wedge for approach. A course which rewards good golf not someone who can just whack a drive 250.
All in all a great day.
The course is well preserved
.... but the layout is not very attractive. The lack of signpost „next tee“ is really anoying. Orientation is sometimes difficult...
Tight Challenging Course
Very good course to test your accuracy off the tee. Club choice is vital so of its your first time it might get tricky at a few holes. Greens and fairways were exceptional.
Flat but difficult.
This course is underestimated for difficulty. It is flat but the back 9 is tight. Par 3s on the back 9 are quite long.
Nice flat course, and not too hard
1st time here, as a high handicapper heard this was wasn’t too hard a course . It wasn’t but not easy either, plenty of bunkers. Course in good condition for Northern Ireland in mid October. Staff very helpful.. Not expensive but played better courses for same money on GolfNow. Would play again.
Good course
This course is lovely and level, really enjoyed playing it and look forward to playing it again
