First time back in a while, did not disappoint!
First time back for a year or so.
First course I played as a junior and it's been remapped with the 8th and 2nd swapping.
This isn't an overly long course just around 5500 yards off the yellows.
Some really tough holes like 4,8 and 13 with little room for error but plenty of more sympathetic holes with plenty of space to leak off to.
Course in great knick considering the heatwave, greens especially. Clubhouse still pretty meh with just the cafe upstairs but to be expected with a municipal course.
All in all, you will do well to find a better course for your money with views as good as this in and around Belfast.
Challenging but fantastic course
Challenging first 9,forgiving back 9,but lovely course very nice and polite members
Great course with plenty of challenges for all handicappers

Hidden gem in the Castlereagh Hills.
This course has developed into a fully fledged 18 hole course from its early days as a 9 hole course - and the added holes have brought a new and dynamic challenge to this course. The first 9 holes are tight and call for accuracy off the tee and to turn at the half way point on your handicap is a great success. The back 9 holes are all good holes with magnificent views of the County Down countryside. Lastly the hospitality of the staff is second to none - this course is a great addition to the range of courses available in Belfast.
Good course, slow play.
Nice course, friendly staff, but the course member infront off me for the back 9 that was playing 2 balls that i had to wait on every hole and wouldnt let me play through ruined my game!
A gem in the Castlereagh hills
Very enjoyable game of golf on a beautiful course set in the Castlereagh hills which look towards Strangeford Lough in the distance. Course is well maintained and staff, on and off the course, are very helpful. 7th and 13th are two good holes to play with a lake coming into play for the shorter driver on the 7th and the 13th green positioned well behind a river running along the left of the fairway to the right of the green. A very enjoyable course with excellent catering facilities to follow the golf.
