This course has everything to challenge all golfers
A very enjoyable days golf on our first visit to Cairndhu.
The par 3 second hole is challenging with fantastic views.
The course was in great condition and would love to play it again.
GREAT VIEWS
Lovely course. Bit hilly, hire a buggy.. Must try it at least once. Enjoyed my day. a lot..
Spectacular Views and Great Golf
It was a midday tee off and a warm day with next to no wind. The fairways and greens are in lovely condition . It is a great course if you enjoy a good walk. The first 8 holes are up and down Cairndhu head on the Antrim coast line with spectacular views across to Scotland and up the North channel. The par 4 3rd hole is tough with a blind tee off over rocks. The back 9 have breathtaking views up and down the Antrim coast line. The golf was really enjoyable and club members out on the course were very friendly and helpful with guidance. My friends and I will definitely be back
Greens good. Hasn't been watered since the last down pour.
Staff could do with cracking a smile tbh
Spectacular views
Great course, hilly, but the views are spectacular. Greens are perfect, well watered, and well maintained. All in all a great challenge to your game. Loved it. Will play again.
Course with challenging lies due to its inherent hilly nature. In great condition and has some spectacular views.
Played for the multiple tine
Course had fell massively in condition, I understand it was under winter rules and price had dropped but very poor condition for the standard I remember this course being!
Extremely disappointing to find out on are journey yesterday to play, that only the back 9holes where available, the condition was like a quagmire & should never have been open to the paying public, and to watch greenkeeper staff driving heavy vehicles onto the fairways churning up an already damaged course was something awful, further more before I booked I spoke to someone in the golf shop regarding the course & no one said only 9holes would be open, past pleasure of playing this course has now changed won't be back unless it's back to its former glory.
Can’t find my ball after a good shot
I’ve play here many times and had good rounds. It’s a quirky coarse. The front nine we really enjoyed especially the 2 nd par 3 into brutal wind. It was after 8 hole that if you ball went off fairway, even by a couple feet that the ‘semi’ rough meant you couldn’t find your ball. I lost two balls after good shots. The problem is that the grass off fairways are not maintained. Semi rough is heavy and two ball heights. It’s a real same for me to say I will not be back as this is down to lack of maintenance but don’t blame green keepers but lack time for them to do what they usually do well. Played 6 golf courses in NI this trip and this is end of our preferences. Pity!
Beautiful Course & Very Helpful Club Pro
I played this course on an incredibly wet day. The course pro made the effort to come out and see me on the 8th & offer a complimentary round when weather was fairer. The views were pretty epic even in the mist and I’ll definitely return to see them in the sunshine. 2nd & 3rd holes particular stand outs. Really friendly welcome and an enjoyable morning of golf even in a storm! Fantastic value for money
Fantastic
Beautiful course in stunning surroundings with friendly staff and we'll maintained greens. Highly recommended and we will undoubtedly be returning.
