Great Layout
Twin Creeks is a very good layout. However, they do seem to have difficulty maintaining it. The bunkers (of which there are many) are not well maintained. Many of the bunkers surrounding the greens are in very poor condition. If they want to charge $100 for a round they need to look after the course.
Pace of play is also an issue at Twin Creeks. On numerous occasions I have played the course and slower groups in front have refused to let us through. Not sure why that seems to frequently occur at Twin Creeks, while not being an issue at other courses I play.
Awesome course
Loved every part of my experience here at twin creeks , great practice facilities, stocked pro shop , friendly staff , excellent course conditions, I look forward to coming again in 2 weeks . Thankyou
great course
course great
Golf Nows change or refund policy not great at all
Thoughts about the course.
A lot of green side and fairway bunkers that are not maintained or needed. Perhaps too many/much to fill with sand, smooth, repair water damage, remove stones and hard bases. Plus irregular edges that increase time needed to maintain.
Most missed greens are giving a bunker shot, not a pitch or chip shot onto the greens.
I shot 76 and was in 9 bunkers during the round.
Maybe regular players lose the capacity to keep raking the sand hole after hole?
Tightly mown fairways would be smoother/more level for the ball to sit up with a little more length to the grass. Had to take deeper divots to reduce shots struck low on the club face.
The greens were slower than expected, putts had to be hit not rolled.
Great course ,great condition its just a shame people cant repair pitch marks on the green. Otherwise excellent course
Nicest Course!!!
Twin creeks is a top tier elite private course made public. Although challenging the course itself was maintained beautifully and the amenities matched. Only critique (although really it’s just a skill issue) is that there are a lot of bunkers on every hole. Understandably I will be coming back here and would recommend this course to anyone as the price point matches the quality of golf course.
P.s the clubhouse is also one of the best!!!
Nice course, challenging and fun
Course was in good condition, holes 10-13 no shade but some stunning holes with big fairways and good greens. I’ll definitely play here again. Nice clubhouse facilities too.
Top track, great value
Sumptuous layout - holiday period, so walked around with 2 others in 3.45. Make sure you bring your sand wedge. Immense value at $65. Scrumptious beers afterwards, but food selection poor, only restaurant meals/cost. Would prefer a $20 burger and chips.
9/10.
Nice course but pace of play and pro shop staff leave it to be desired
Lovely course with a good layout but it took 3 and half hours to play 9 nine hole. No pace of play marshals. Groups of 6 were playing in front of us. Pro shop staff were very rude when I asked about getting a golf cart. Would not return.
Great course, post round facilities lacking
The course was well maintained and provided good challenges with some of the rough and many fairway and green layup bunkers. A shame is that after finishing our round we could not enjoy a post round alcoholic beverage due to the restricted opening hours of the bar/food lounge (we finished at 3.30pm, so not overly late).
First experience
Played my first game at Twin Creeks, The course and layout was great. No farlitways run side by side which I like. The staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely be back and better next time around knowing the layout better
Great layout, wicked greens
Greens are wickedly fast and very slopey, the course will certainly test your short game and drives a need to be accurate with your approach shots. Nice driving grass driving range and short game area to warm up on. Would definitely recommend playing.
Higher expectations
I probably expected too much…. The fairways were pretty rough with a lot of divots, the grass was thin, the ground was hard. It’d just rained a little too and it mudded up a bit.
It’s a tough course (obviously). I’d played Stonecutters earlier in the week and that was in immaculate condition. Comparatively this felt like it needed some attention.
Lovely clubhouse and facilities. Wasn’t good value though.
Challenging, yet enjoyable country club course
Had the day off and decided to head out to the Twin Creaks Country Club golf course for 18 holes in the morning (tee off from 0730). Range was not open due to the birds taking the balls, but the chipping and putting greens were both open and were in immaculate condition.
The greens were fast which made the short game interesting. The sand bunkers were in great nic. Great hole layout. Greens were starting to lose their summer condition, but everything was still a real pleasure to play on.
Would highly recommend for any type of player. Enjoyable morning out.
