Nice challenging
Is a good track , but the fairway was very poor at this this in march. The rest it wiil very correct. A good course but not a the regular price .
Greens
Would have been nice to know the greens were just punched and sand all over them. We had to stop twice for them to put water on the greens and there was nobody behind us the staff could have waited 5 mins for us to finish the hole instead of us waiting for the sprinklers to stop
the course has a nice lay out but trouble does lurk
very nice course will be in top shape once weather becomes warmer still has the hard pan fairways overall stil a great course
Good golf experience
Overall the course is in good condition. A lot of improvements have been made and more are taking place. Nice outing
Winter golf
Greens are in great shape, fairways and rest of course very thin. Should be great once grass fills in. Difficult but good layout.
Eagles Brooke
Played Eagles Brooke Sun and it was a great round once again. Greens were in great shape and course was overall looking good. Once the fairways green up it will be top notch. Always a top value, especially on the Southside of town
Course is very playable but also challenging
Lots of detail went into the layout of this course. Bridge work is extravagant!!! Greens were true. Overall good time.
Great Track; Long but fair!
I really enjoyed my first experience playing Eagle's Brook. Provides you with a real unique perspective from each tee, so choose well. It was my first time playing, without my GPS, I could have gotten into much more trouble, from a blind end of fairway to bunkers and other hazzards. Shot placement is key. Tbey are preparing to open a freshly finished clubhouse which looks great, so in the meantime, grilling and snacks were available at the 10th tee.
One of the better courses around
Eagles Brooke continues to get better and my trip there Saturday was no exception. The course is looking decent and for late February it's above average. Can't wait to see what this place looks like in July!
In good shape for winter play
The course was a little wet. The greens in good shape. Not many people playing. I had a good time and will be back.
Good deal
Played on a "hot deal" at 9 AM Friday morning, Nov. 29th. Was cold 1st thing and had a 30 minute frost/freeze delay. Was paired with one other single and was the 1st group out. Got around in less than 4 hours, which was nice. Course is in decent shape, considering the time of year. Will return again, if I can get out on a weekday. Long drive down from Newnan makes it hard to justify anything over $30 dollars for a round.
Good course, super fast greens.
I like this course. Play here regularly. The greens are a super challenge.
Nice track
Eagles Brooke Is in great shape and it is a tough track. If I have a complaint. It Is the lack of a starter hurt's them. We played as a twosome behind 3 twosomes a 3 some and it took us about 4 1/2 hrs. They need a starter to make sure people are teeing off the time they are signed up for. I'm sure some of those 2 somes should have been paired together.
For the $20 "Hot Deal" this course is a gem.
Thoroughly enjoyed playing this course. It was enjoyably challenging for any level of golfer. The greens were in good shape with the exception of a few unrepared ball marks thanks to inconsiderate holders. The course provided gas golf carts with plenty of pep to get up the GA hills. Though the clubhouse is currently operating out of a trailer, all the necessary amenities were provided. However, the selection of golf balls and merchandise was limited, so unless you play Titelist make sure to come prepared. The pro assured me the clubhouse was in progress of reopening. Overall it was a great experience.
Great course!
This course well deserves a four star. It's long but offers multiple Tee lengths to suit golfers of EVERY skill level. The greens have been in excellent shape each time I have played. Most have some undulation, making it a thinking golfers challenge on approach shots...the staff is quite cordial . The only issue? Which really is of no great importance, is the temporary or "makeshift" clubhouse, and no beverage cart... But that is of no consequence given the very nice track one gets to experience without a consistent slow pace of play. If the clubhouse gets upgraded... This course could easily be 5 Star. I recommend it wholeheartedly!
Wonderful course
Played on 10/22/13 and this is the best condition I've ever seen this course. Play now before the fairways are dormant.
keep it fast !!!! (greens)
more yard markers, otherwise EAGLE BROOKS YOUR THE BEST
Decent and Crowded
Decent course for the money. It's one of 4 public courses in Henry County. You have this, Crystal Lake, Lake Spivey, and Cottonfields to choose from. Eagles Brooke is newly owned. The investors purchased the course, but not the clubhouse. So you check-in in a double wide trailer and use the restroom in a porta potty. With the new additions of Cannongate courses in the county, it seems that the people that don't have memberships crowd the public courses now. Played on Friday and it took 5 hours to ride 18. They had a tournament cancel on them and they sent out fire sale emails to ride 18 for 27.00. I think every golfer in the county was there. It's all about the bottom dollar, and not "your" golfing experience. I hope this helps. If you have 5 hours to burn on a weekday then I guess I recommend this course.
Concrete Fairways
Course is suppose to be on the upward move gave it a try. I found staff to be less than cordial, crews in the way of play and the Fairways as hard as concrete. Greens are fair but need attention along with rough. I gave it a try but would not recommend to others.
Nice Course I will play it again
The Course has a good Layout with lots of interesting holes.
There is not much Water but bring anyway some extra Balls.
