In poor condition
I have played four courses i the immediate area. This course was not only the most expensive of those four but also in the worst condition. The fairways are sketchy, as if they did to oversee. You don't roll your putts; the ball bounces across the greens.
Hgh price; low condition. It's a bad combination.
Horrible greens
This course has a great layout and staff.. unfortunately the greens are subpar for the price they are charging..
Good Layout & Picturesque
This course has a nice layout, but tired. The greens were slow and very little sand in the traps, along with some bare spots around the greens. Considering the price, it wasn’t a good value. But since we’re from New Hampshire and hadn’t played in 5 months, it was fun.
The pace of play was very good, we played 18 in 3:40, which I thought was very good considering it was at the JW Narriott resort
Not worth the money
We waited every shot, quit after no. 11.
Had planned to have cocktails and dinner, but after our Pro Shop experience followed by waiting to play each shot, we decided to go elsewhere.
The person checking us in, the person we paid was not informative nor did he wish to be.
“Just go downstairs.” We asked a couple questions, and that’s what we were told. Needless to say, the clothing items that tempted me were no longer of any interest to me.
Just a bad choice for our round I guess. And an expensive mistake.
I would not recommend this course over any one of the many choices around the area. No one looked like they were having fun.
Nice track
Other than the greens being slow the course has a nice layout pace of play was excellent.
Great golf experience
Course was in great shape, fabulous pace of play and the staff were very accommodating
Beautiful course and fun
This course was very fun to play and beautiful. Green speed was slow probably due to the late over-seeding this year. Played as a three-some group with a tee time at 12:40pm, the pace of play is better than I expected, finished in less than 4 hours with a foursome group ahead of us.
A favorite course in the valley
Love both the courses at Desert springs. They differ from most courses in the valley as there is grass from tee to green. There are no desert waste areas. Still plenty of hazards, several “don’t go there” areas and enough variety to make it very interesting.
Valley course stretch of holes 4-8 are interesting and beautiful. Similarly in the back, 14,16 and 18 are scenic. 18 is one of my favorite holes, requiring 2 good shots for a chance at birdie.
Definitely worth playing.
