About
The Links Course at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is the ultimate in risk-reward golf. The architect, Tom Jackson, routed five holes along the bay and then wound the course inland across rolling undulations. In order to prevail against the blustery Gulf Coast winds, accuracy and proper club selection are essential, making it a true shot-maker's golf course. In addition to being right along the shores of the Choctawhatchee Bay, the Baytowne Marina serves as a backdrop to the course, providing even more stunning views of the Emerald Coast. Of the four championship golf courses that Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort offers, the Links is one of the original two and also one of the most popular. The layout offers a unique links experience that all skill levels can enjoy, especially since it features four different sets of tees.

Came down from Atlanta for Thanksgiving weekend.. so i booked the closest course to me, Happened to be Sandestin links..... everything about this place is quality... complementary range balls.... amazing views, the greens roll smooth.... if you have the chance, check it out...

.........I booked this course on golf now... Visiting Florida,
coming from Atlanta this Thanksgiving, my wife and I were visiting her mom for 3 days, so logically i booked a tee time.... 😆 .. I played as a single and got pared up with the nicest older Korean couple ever.... PRO SHOP... the guy at the counter was way cool, and way helpful...this course has cigars available, all the merch u could want and rental clubs... COURSE CONDITIONS... were so amazing in NOVEMBER it felt like spring in Georgia, greens were perfect and the carts have gps.. I highly recommend this one if u have the time... BTW, range balls are complimentary... icing on the cake!! Overall, this will be my Florida golf course every time we visit...

Buyer Beware!
Ok the title may be a little strong but seriously the greens were so high that it was like putting on shag carpet. I know the over seeding is part of the process but I’ve never had to putt on greens this high. A few of the tee boxes need attention as well.

Great course
This course was amazing. Not too hard but still challenging. Absolutely beautiful views. Course was in great shape even though it had rained for days before we went. Got it in the off season and it was a steal.

RUIINED DAY OF GOLF ON VACATION
I arrived at the course about 35 minutes before my tee time. I went to the pro-shop and paid, but was told I would need to talk to the starter about when they could get me off. I said but ai have an 11:53 tee time. I was told I had been mixed in with a big group for somewhere and they had gotten them off early. I talked to the starter who said he really didn't know where to put me as all head had were 4somes. Not happy I headed back to the pro-shop. On the way the started called to me and wanted to put me out between 4somes as a single. Not a good plan. Then he was going to put me with a 4some and make it a 5some. I don't play in 5somes. I went back and was given a full refund, but lost a day of golf on vacation on a beautiful Florida day.. I will have to think carefully about trusting Tee Off with my next golfing plans.. Be very careful when you book so your golfing vacation does not get spoiled by poor management on the part of both the golf course and Tee Off. Both are to blame for this fiasco.

Enjoyable Round in Destin
Plenty challenging from the back tees for this 60 year old. Shot 87 which included a couple of penalties as punishment for soft drives.
Greens had a lot of depth, important to take enough club with the stick in the back.
Pace of play was excellent. Would love to play again!
