Good public course
Only open until end of October 2021. What once was a nice private club is now public. For a public course with minimal maintenance- Course is beautiful, fairways really nice and greens were actually better than I thought they would be. Minimal amenities and surrounding areas of the club seem neglected. Half way house has snacks, drinks and hot dogs. Friendly staff all around. We went here because our club course was being aerated this week. Would recommend anyone seeking a change of scenery. Worth the $100
Nice course but…….
The course is worn. The overall care is just average. It used to be better but the course has been sold and the amenitare not there
Nice fairways, average greens
Check in was simple at the shack only. There is actually a driving range to the right along with a putting and chipping green. Most of the fairways were really good.
CONS: As in other reviews, the greens were so so with different patches of grass and therefore different speeds on some greens. Since this place is going under, doubt there will be significant maintenance and upgrades.
Overall, a course to experience before it closes but book when there is not many other golfers around your tee time otherwise there will be a wait.
Ripoff
Place is dilapidated greens are terrible. No pro shop no snack stand. Place is set to close at the end of the season they should spare everyone with their false pictures online and close now. Waste of $100
Beautiful course
I know this was a beautiful course at one time and in many ways, it still is. If you play here don’t expect any amenities. Pro shop is closed. The only bathrooms open were by the clubhouse. Nothing was open to get a bottle of water or anything else to eat or drink so bring your own. Still glad I got to play the course but too much mo eY for nothing. Play was very slow as they booked multiple groups for the same t time. Took 5 1/2 hours.
Time warp back in time of service and amenities.
The course was nice at one point I guess. Played here for the first time.
As soon as you arrive, your trying to find where to go.
No signage or appearance of where to go check in.
Check in at a shack, no clubhouse, no pro shop, no restaurant. Only snack bar that looks run down with ice machine outside that has not been cleaned in years!
The place is dirty, unkept with no staff. I saw only 3 staff at course, check in , snack shop clerk and person picking up range bucket. Skeleton crew who is not too helpful or friendly.
Score card boxes and divot repair mix all empty with only trash in it.
No place to have a drink or a meal after the round.
As for the course itself. Nice layout with water and trees.
Would be so much better with better management of grounds. Pretty nice greens except for the many divots.
Cart path that had asphalt was like going off roading.
Ponds full of algae, no airration.
Would go back they improve amenities and course maintenance.
Very slow pace of play, waited on every single hole.
No rangers in sight at all.
Overall not worth the money for the speed of play, lack of amenities and course maintenance.
Tam was great
I showed up on a blustery day in the afternoon and had the course to my self. This was once a private club and is a wonderful track. It's definitely a place I'll return to.
