The Painted Valley Course at the Promontory Club is a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course and it is one of two championship courses at the club, Pete Dye designed the other course. Both courses have received much praise from various golf publications and present golfers with quite a challenge. Named after the scenic valley in which it is located, the Painted Valley Course offers beautiful views of mountains in the distance. It is considered one of the most difficult courses in Utah but it has a layout that rewards players of all abilities for good shots. The Promontory Club, in addition to the two impressive golf courses, also boasts three ski slopes.

Wow

Course has it all. Amazing facilities and they had breakfast tacos and drinks for us before we started. Not a member but we were able to get on since they offer a few tee times to the public. Paid $185 for the round and the fore caddie was a separate cost.

Driving range is plush with the most beautiful views in the background. Starter was very friendly. Great layout and the course was in pristine condition. Grill on the course had some great hot dogs. On the back 9 there are some fun elevated tee boxes. Greens were fast but fair.

Can’t wait to come back to Park City and play this course again!

How did you go about getting a non-member tee time? I would love to check it out.
