Wenvoe Castle Golf Club

This course has got to be one of my favourites. Challenging and varied with well kept greens and fairways.. easy access location and lots of history. Highly recommended. Surrounded by countryside with stunning views. Electric trolley is a bonus as quite a few slopes to negotiate.

Nice course testing some great holes.very well kept good fairways and greens. badly need a sign for 3rd tee as we got lost and others said same.but otherwise we really enjoyed our day

A good hilly walk, but lovelly course would defo play again

Fantastic course from start to finish. Beautiful opening hole, displaying two other fairways which were immaculately cut.
Good Covid protocol, with free hand sanitiser pouches for out on the course and putter flag lifters, so no need to touch the flags at all.
Course was in a great condition, greens were great, and flow of play was as expected with a lot of individual players coming through.
Helpful clubshop staff, but didn't stay for post round refreshments as it was the UK's hottest day of the year, so I needed 30 minutes of aircon in the car before I could leave the club!!
Well recommended.

great course in lovely condition, everyone made us very welcome. would highly recommend playing this course , will definitely be going back.

Was a member 15 years ago at Wenvoe.
A fantastic course probably one of the best in Wales.
Haven't played for 3 years.
Thoroughly enjoyed 2 games in last 6 weeks.
Going to rejoin club on a 100 points basis for £325 a year which will allow me to play 2 games per month midweek approx.
Excellent day at Wenvoe Castle.
Highly recommend the course.

Really enjoyable round. Very interesting layout with each hole offering something different. Fairways were in good condition and greens were excellent, especially been quite early in the year. Pro shop very friendly and accommodating, also nice bar and friendly staff to enjoy a beer after your round! Look forward to returning sometime in the future.

Played terrible but can still say i think this is one i will come back to.

Theres a good variety in holes and the fairways for the time of year was as good as ive seen. Greens were running fairly quick as well.

Guy in the shop was very helpful and the stock was much better priced than other golf clubs.

Great days golf. The golf shop staff member was very welcoming and came out to explain the course layout. Cannot speak highly enough of this place.

Having booked the tee time for 1:38 I believed our party would have plenty of time to finish out round. ( forgetting the clocks went back). As a group we decided we could easily get all 18 holes in if we got buggies. We were refused buggies from the shop as they needed them - although there was only one group of women playing behind us.
The course itself played great, the fairways were superb and the greens were quick.
Overall I would play again, but being very up and down would need a buggy.

Excellent course. Very well maintained, challenging and just looks beautiful. Can’t fault this course, and even more so when it’s a bargain on ToT.

I enjoyed the course , there are some real tough holes , greens were good . The green fees should be lower and more in line with other courses

Course was in exceptional condition, clearly laid out for first-time visitors and presents a good (and quite different) challenge

Lots of rain over previous week so 11, 12 & 18 not allowed to play. Still good round and exercise. May be seeking to join.

Arrived at course having booked through tee of times but found I had inadvertently booked the wrong course. However the gentelman in the shop not only fitted us in but contacted tee off times and managed to get my booking changed. I am extremley greatfull to him and the contact at tee off times for there exceptional help. Now to the golf the course was in pristeen condition. We played ok but feel we should have done better however it was our fist time. When we go to the area we will definately try again. Once again thanks to the staff for making our day very pleasent.
