Absolute disgrace
What was once a decent course now has become what I can only describe as an overgrown field its probably the worse course conditions iv ever come across in Ireland and that's bad, . Avoid at all cost . Clubhouse looks like it hasn't had a coat of paint in 20 years
Clubhouse not open
I arrived at 6.30am for a 6.50am tee time. The clubhouse was locked up. No access to scorecards.
Great course
Great course.Very good location with breathtaking scenery
Lovely course
Really lovely course in great condition. Only downfall is no one around to get the buggy off. Lovely volunteer helped me out. Highly recommend
Good Challenge
Played this on a GolfNow deal; €10, so pretty good value at that rate. First nine holes are pretty hilly and definitely a challenge for stances and ball position.
Back nine is much friendlier and in much better condition, especially 12-18. Greens were OK, but again 12-18 seemed to be in much better condition.
Fairways in good nick and rough not too severe. Good layout with a few nice doglegs, and a couple of the Par 3s were nicely designed.
Overall, a good course for all levels (I am 17 HCap), well designed, maintained and very scenic.
Super course
i heard a lot of stories about this course mostly bad, all about how hilly it was, what a load of garbage that was, I have to say there is a couple of holes that plays uphill , but you soon get over that, all I can say to the people who hasn't played this course is, GIVE IT. TRY, you will not be disappointed, wether you walk it or ride it, what a fabulous course, well maintained, excellent all round, very friendly staff to, il rate it 10 out of 10,
Lovely course, hilly for those with mobility difficulties
A reasonably challenging course, lovely tree lined fairways, overall the course is very well maintained. Staff and members friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this course to other golfers.
Underrated gem
A great course with a wide range of challenges. Tough greens, hard to read and fast for time of year/weather conditions. Beautiful quiet hillside location in a mature setting. Top half of course means a reasonable fitness level required.
Overall, I really liked this course, its for the golfer and not the driving range expert.
