We turned up this morning and the course was closed due to fog and they weren't letting anyone out with no indication as to when they would be so we waited an hour and still nothing so we went to play elsewhere and we didnt get to play the round that the of us paid €20 for

Grand Golf Course

This Course suits us - our standard of golf is intermediate . We still hit wayward shots but usually we can find our ball
fairly easily and quickly.l Lovely course to walk too with all the grand trees and shrubs to look at .

Tough but enjoyable challenge

Very decent course with some very challenging holes, you need to be accurate off the tee to have a chance to make birdies and pars
Only criticism I have is that both times I've played so far this year,my group(2ball)was held up on every hole by a 4 ball that simply refused to wave us through....this has nothing to do with the course or the lads that look after you(who are all brilliant by the way)just a pet hate of mine

Walked

Good course, friendly staff, slow on the day.

Arrived with a couple of minutes to spare for my tee time, just to see a fourball teeing off. Pro shop staff were very helpful in getting me out next, but as was playing alone it way un-playably slow going. After three holes I had a chance to skip to the 10th tee which was quiet and then played a nice back nine under no pressure. So, 12 holes in total. Felt I was at fault for cutting it tight, but the four ball did start out just before the tee time I had booked. Playing alone if always a bit iffy but I would be a bit more careful in future to try to find out how busy the course was before going out. Good lads in the Pro shop. Sorted me out with a putter too as I had left mine out of the bag. Some nice holes on the front nine, back nine is ordinary enough - longish holes up and back.... course in very good condition. Good value anyway as I was under some time pressure and unlikely to finish 18. No complaints except maybe your tee off slot should be there for you as long as you turn up on time.

Great Value

Played in a 4 ball, course was in good condition, the greens were a little slow. We had a delayed free round which is always a bonus. Great value and enjoyable course.

Slow play members

Staff are very friendly, pro shop guy was full of info and welcoming, the course isn't overly tough but still a good test and very well maintained. Played on my own and got stuck behind 3 members who refused to let me through for 4 holes saying I didn't have the right as I was on my one which is grand but they were 3 holes behind the group in front, finally let me through and told me to hurry up??? Really liked the course but won't be going back if that's wat u have to put up with
