Enjoyable round and top food
Fantastic course, good weather, great food and friendly service
No down points to a good day. A++++
Nice challenge
Staff was great. Price was super cheap for a nice course. They only stock 4 buggy’s so if you want a cart book early. It’s not a difficult walk though. The rental clubs could use new grips. Club house was stacked with gear. Had a great round.
Excellent course
Excellent course and quite challenging. Overall very enjoyable and well worth a visit.
Lovely parkland course and hidden gem
Met friends here as equidistant for both. First time at Castlebar on beautiful day. Very friendly and helpful staff and members. Course in great condition. Loved the wide fairways but still managed to find water hazards! Will definitely play here again if in the area and will definitely use Golfnow.com
Great standard of course
Very friendly staff and members.
Well looked after course. Great layout and great holes
Immaculate
Congratulations to all the grounstaff on the fantastic conditions of the course despite the dry weather. Greens were iamazing. Outstanding value for money.
Amazing greens
Overall course in superb condition. I think the shape, size, orientation and undulations of the greens are some of the best parkland greens in the country. Well worth a visit
Lovely day in Castlebar
First time to play here, but won't be my last. Course in great condition, lovely fairways and greens were great. Very pleasant experience, well worth a visit.
Wonderful changes
Returned after approx 25 years three friends and hugely impressed with design and conditioning of what is essentially a new course. Beautiful on the eye and cleverly designed to make for a really enjoyable experience. I look forward to getting back soon.
Five new holes open
This course is in the process of being re-developed becausse of proposed road changes. At present Phase 1 has been completed, and the second pahse is in progress. Five new holes have been built and are really superb. This is a lovely parkland course. Not busy at all, and a very relaxed course.
Course being re-designed
Due to new road being constructed the course has 3 temporary greens. Other than that the course is in good order.
