About
There are two 18-hole golf courses available at Orangebrook Country Club in Hollywood, the East and the West. Built in the 1930s, the East Course is the club's original layout. While its design may be more traditional, it is just as much of a challenge as the newer West Course. The East has fewer water hazards but there are large bunkers strategically placed throughout. There are some tricky holes included in the design but there are also many player-friendly features as well including wide-open fairways and generous landing areas. Players can get their practice in on the large, lighted driving range that has both distance markers and a practice bunker. Orangebrook C.C. offers not one but two player-friendly but challenging rounds, making it popular amongst locals for being one of the area's best values.

Very improved conditions
I've being playing this course for a number of years and I'm pleasantly surprised to see the improvement of the fairways, the greens still need some work, but, if you're working on your game, driver and irons, there's no better deal around south. I would highly recommend this course for beginners and even good players, just not great for putting and some bunkers need more sand. The staff are always super friendly and courteous. So tip generously
I should have played elsewhere
The front 9 on the 2 courses were closed so we were required to play the back on each course. The greens on the West course were just aerated and there was so much sand on 18 West, there were footprints in the sand on the green. Impossible to putt. Not a good day. And GolfPass offers no credit or promo code.
In great shape
Orangebrook is always a great place to play, but when it’s in really good shape, that’s a nice bonus. I have played both the East and West courses and they are both playing nice. I’m lucky that I get to play during the week, you get a get a deal with a good hot dog, chips and a soda, it’s great. I play the East side more, I find it a little more challenging, but either side is good, and nice areas to chip and putt. The staff is really nice.
The course was fun with a few challenging holes, but bring plenty of water and sunblock.
Value and speed
A great value for a quick round of golf. Not a place to practice putting but a fair course for an average golfer who wants to enjoy the game and not take 4 or 5 hours
Has improved greatly
Have been playing this course for a number of years and I'm impressed by the overall improvement, the greens are on the slow side and some have crabgrass and bare patches. Overall the conditions are okay and I like that it's an easy to walk course.
