Good shape, strong test of golf
Cross Winds (Jones & Ouimet) was in very good early season shape. It is always a tough test of golf, combining shorter holes that require shot management with a couple very long holes you just want to survive without a big number. Love this course. Will definitely keep coming back.
Return to Crosswinds
We played at Crosswinds just after the restrictions were lifted and you were able to play golf here in Mass in April of 2020. No carts so the walk was tough and we only did 9 holes.
We made are way back this past March 27th and the course was in very good shape considering it was early spring in the northeast. We were very glade we came back and will return again this summer when the temps are a bit warmer.
Hard Course
Cross Winds is Nice there’s no doubt about that offering 3 9 hole courses you never know what one you’re going to get. That being said none of these three courses are easy. There all infact pretty hard. I would not recommend coming here if you’re a weekend play who can’t break 100 with a high level of confidence.
I WILL PLAY AGAIN!!!
Went back here to play because of conditions of course ,,, also other amenities are good also. Like food ,, friendlyness
Always good here
Great 27 hole set up always in good shape my favorite in the area
Bang for your buck!
Very well maintained, green everywhere and fun to play for all skill levels
Stay away unless you have all day to kill
Decent conditions, greens are on, but I walked off the 10th hole since it took 3 hours to get there. Excruciating slow. We notified the staff several times about the slow play. They said that is normal for them. Bye Felicia.
One of the better courses still open!
Leaves, hills and blind shots for days! Love this course.
Good round for December in Massachusetts
Played mid December, course was in great shape. Range could be upgraded to match the track itself. Bar was closed, about nthe only negative as it was 45 degrees outside. A little something something to help warm the body would've been. Nice. Overall though I'd recommend it.
Fast Start -Slow Finish
Everything was great on the first nine (Zaharias ). When we made the turn to the second nine (Jones) everything slowed to a snail's pace. There should have been a Ranger to keep the pace moving.
