Basic Par 3 - Good course
This is a basic course. I rate excellent for what it is - it’s not The Harbourtown Links. It’s also $10-15 for a round. Staff was friendly, course was well maintained, not too crowded.
Perfect for Jr. play
Staff is the best I have ever met! Fairways were perfect.
Par 3 9 hole Fun Little Course
Super laid back 9 hole par 3 course. I brought my Fiance who has never played, and we played a quick scramble. Great to get outside, and very beginner friendly. The staff were very nice.
Good for the price
This course is what you’d expect. A short par 3 course for 10-13 bucks. Take it for what it is. The greens aren’t fantastic but not as bad as some par 3’s I’ve played. Great course for a short practice round as they have a couple longer par 3s to work your long irons in. Great practice greens for chipping and putting and a good driving range. Ranked the off course amenities as poor because I don’t think they have any food or anything, which doesn’t bother me for a 9 hole par 3 course. It looked like they had a shack set up for concessions stand but it was being worked on. So maybe they’re getting a stand or they’ve already had it and I just didn’t think it was open. Not the end of the world.
For the beginner
We played as a family and three of the four golfers are newbies..... perfect course for them!
course was good for what it was. was not aware that it was a par 3 course. we finished the course in an hour with a 4sum. i had never seen a 60 yard hole. it was cool to get practice with my irons but was expecting more.
Great par 3 walking course!
My wife and I played this course and absolutely loved it. It’s a simple par 3 9-hole walking course, and we were in and out in an hour. Had a blast. Friendly staff. Great little course.
Love the layout and room to play my driver as I’m a 2-3 times a month golfer with no time to really practice.
I’m from out of town and I really liked everything about playing here. I hope to play it again on my next trip back to Nashville.
Superior budget friendly facility
I drove in the lot to see a massive driving range. The 9 hole par 3 course is tucked in the corner.. it was great!! Took me 1.5 hours by myself. I played multiple balls each hole as I was trying to get used to my new irons, and hone in distances. Great for young kids, new golfers, or mid handicappers looking to improve iron accuracy. 4/5 stars, because the greens were garbage, didn’t even putt on 7/9 holes. But come on, 10$$?! Steal of a deal.
Challenging and fun
I live near this facility and frequent it at least 4x per week. Harpeth Valley has a great range, short game, special wedge practice area, and the par 3 course. The course itself is a good challenge with a mix of holes from 65yds to 190yds. The course design is interesting, challenging and great practice for high or low handicappers. The staff is friendly and the owner is always willing to help. If you have a chance, I highly recommend taking advantage of this great facility.
My friends new course
Rookie golfer buddy doing all of his practice here, and enjoying the par 3 course.
Pure Practice Paradise
I went here to practice with my new irons. I was only going to hit balls, but asked about the course out of curiosity. Stan showed me the scorecard and explained how it's designed to use every iron in your bag. So I hit a small bucket and went to the first tee! He was right, the course has a great layout that demands different shots. On #3, I hit a 60 yard bump and run 7 iron instead of trying to control a lob wedge downwind. This is a great beginners course yet even simple shots like that can be challenging to more advanced players. The tees and fairways were in great shape! The bent grass greens had a tough go with our high summer heat, but I was told they will rebound over the winter with new seed. After the round, I practiced in the pitching area. It has little mini greens with holes and bunkers! HVGC is more than a driving range, it's a place to become a better golfer. I will definitely be back!
For a friend
Reserve tee times here for friend who’s new to golf. This facility has all the practice areas and a 9 hole par 3 course.
