Perfect Layout! Mount Compass Golf Course!
Played for the first time yesterday 28/12/2022 and the coarse was amazing to play. Not your typical links coarse as surprisingly it was an easy walk with a push cart. Coarse layout for 20 handicapper is perfect. Not hilly or awkward mounds to make a fella break a sweat. Be warned though the coarse advertises snakes present, so if you lose your ball I recommend you just drop another and play on. You’ll see for your self that you don’t want wander far into the tall grass. Staff was extremely friendly. Only downside was the two younger fellas (early 20’s) not keeping pace ahead. I guess they thought they were Greg and Arny playing a head to head. Maybe send a Marshall out from time to time to light a match from time to time. Despite this minor set back coarse was very well manicured and greens will surprise you. If you haven’t yet golfed this coarse put it on your bucket list for golf destinations.
One of South Australia's finest
Absolutely loved playing this course, a short drive from Adelaide, some really challenging Par 3s. Stop off at McLarenvale wineries on your way home. What a course.
