Great warm up
Hadn’t played in months s d needed to find a place with a low bar to find my swing. It is great for that. Or if u just want to play for cheap money.
Forest oaks
It’s a shame that this course is closing ,very tough layout that will be missed
Needs a lot of care
I believe this course was probably really nice decades ago but it is in serious need of a complete overhaul, from tee blocks to greens.
Do Not Play
From tee to green this course is in horrible shape. Tee boxes are poorly maintained, the fairways are mostly dried out grass and bare spots. The bunkers are hard and the sand is so thin it might as well be painted on. The greens are the best thing about the course and they are in poor shape by south Florida standards. The pace of play was glacial as even from the tips, the course is too short. It plays way shorter than the scorecard says so every hole has back up potential. This is easily in my top 3 worst courses I’ve ever played. We walked off at the turn because the conditions were so poor. The staff was nice enough, but the course is not. Won’t be playing this course ever again.
You Get What You Pay For
Friendly staff, good food, cheap prices for the tee time and concessions. The course layout is unique, the back 9 rips right through the back yards of condos. A carefully placed tee shot off the roof of one of those condos will help carry the ball and bounce it back into the fairway.
The layout has potential but the main issue was just the quality of the grounds. The greens were tiny and in poor shape. Tee boxes were bumpy and missing grass, fairways were also in poor condition.
I'd happily pay an extra $20 to $40 to go play elsewhere with better conditions.
Shot a 78.
Don't Play
I have never did a review of anything in my life. I know it is shutting down, but was not enjoyable in any way.
First Time Playing this course
Was very disappointed in the rental clubs although it was only $15 I should have known, there were clubs I've never even heard of and my buddy and I would swear they gave me a putt putt putter. The starter gave away our cart to a couple that had a team time after us so we ended up having to wait and tee off late. The staff inside were very nice and helpful. The course kept a decent pace for a jam packed day. The only good spots on the course were the greens and about half the tee boxes. The fairways were awful, some were pretty much like playing out of a bunker. Mostly an iron course only used the driver on about 4 holes.
