Excellent condition
I've read many of the reviews about the difficulty of this course. My wife and I found it very fair for recreational golfers IF you pick the right tees for your game. I only hit it about 200 yards off the tee and when using the Bridge tees, had no problem with a couple of holes that have some carry off the tee. I'm an 18 handicap and shot 89. I suggest you get real and move up a set of tees and enjoy the beautiful layout and great conditions. I lost a couple of balls but only because I hit a couple of really bad shots. At $100 per round however, this is a one and done for us. We simply won't pay this kind of money for golf. The fairways, greens, bunkers and tee boxes are in excellent condition. We didn't go there for the clubhouse or the food. We went for the golf. So, while it's kind of ugly, the incomplete clubhouse that has been sitting there for 5 years doesn't bother us. It's just a reminder of how deep the Great Recession hurt SW Florida and it's still recovering. At the end of the day, while we had a great day, we'd return to Panther Run, which is an excellent golf course, and save the $100+ to play another day.
Excellent Course
TPC Treviso Bay is a very good course, in great condition with great practice facilities. The couse is difficult - a lot of water - but I found it to be playable from the tees we picked (they have five sets). Grees fees ($119 per person) were reasonable considering they included cart, practice range and the quality of the course. Rained they day we played and only got in 4-5 holes, staff was accomodating - provided us a rain cehck for another date.
Great new course in Naples
Very challenging, but fair. Bridge tees were a nice touch, more courses should do this. Beautiful conditions, a little crowded, but still made it around in 4 1/2 houes
Great golf course in SW FL
Great course in very good shape. Playable yet challenging. No clubhouse yet, but when it's finished, I imagine it'll be closed to the public. So play it while you can. The grass on the greens had no grain direction but the greens were posted at a 10.1 stimpmeter. A little slow for my tastes or perhaps I'm just too used to the grass we have in Michigan, which can lend itself to faster greens. Played the course twice in the week we were in the area. Good value if you can negotiate the guest rate of find a last minute deal on GolfNow.

The course is fairly new, but it is well maintained and it really is beautiful. The only downside is how unfriendly the staff is at the club house. We paid a nice amount of money for an 18 hole round. The price included one bucket of balls to practice in the driving range. We did not have time to practice when we arrived, but our son (29 yr old) decided to do it after the round was over. He was told that unfortunately he could not use the driving range because that was for Members Only. He explained that the price included the bucket of balls and to add there was no one in the driving range at that time. Still the staff was very stiff and not willing to let him go to the driving range. This is a very beautiful course, but with that kind of attitude toward tourists, we would never go back there.
Great round of golf.
I am from Kelowna, BC, Canada and play a lot. 12 handicap. Glad I played here. Tees, fairways, traps, greens all perfect. Arrived late so only had time to hit a couple of balls, too bad as range is perfect. No one in front/behind us. Played with 2 others. We chose to play slower. Only homes are on 1 of the tees and in no way affects play. Clubhouse is a trailer which is fine. Skeleton of planned clubhouse remains, too bad but way to grand. The entrance to Treviso is awesome and the long winding round to the course is cool. Course is minutes to downtown Naples. Would highly recommend this course to anyone in the area. Played Old Corkscrew the next day, very good course also. About 40 minutes from Treviso.
Superb condition, very challenging and interesting course.
A very high quality course. Each hole could be a signature hole. Greens were slick but fair. Immaculate condition. Don't be too ambitious with your choice of tee unless you know you hit it straight for 250 yards otherwise you will lose a few balls.
I've been lucky enough to have played several majors courses and Treviso is up there with the best of them.
The only downside is there is no clubhouse to enjoy a post game calming beer!
amazing
Greens were like butter, fairways in great shape. One of the best courses anywhere, true to the Tpc name!
Great condition and a fun course
Staff was very friendly, the course was in tremendous shape and offers plenty of challenge. Not a good spot for the weekend hacker, but a good test for the above average (of better) player.
Spectacular Tee to Green!
I've only played a few courses this nice. My first time so I played the tee box one up from my regular & it made the round just a pleasurable experience. Nice wide open fairways that are like an emerald green carpet. Everything was great about this track. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Every golfer should treat him or her self at least once at this course...it's a beautiful golfing experience. My wife & I loved it!
The course is challenging!!
The day was windy and made the course more challenging with the narrow fairways and many deep bunkers. The Pro Shop inventory was lacking in some souvenirs, i.e. bag tags.
A real treat to play this fantastic course.
More expensive to play but worth it. Wonderful layout in magnificent shape. Lush turf, great greens.
Will be great when the clubhouse is built, also electric carts and gps would be welcome.
This course has everything you want.
I have played Treviso Bay several times over the past few years. It's everything you can handle. Bring your best shots and a bag full of golf balls.
Good course with issues
Its a good layout but;
- greens were slow
- NO GPS on carts but lots of hazards - a yardage book in small print is not helpful
- pin positions sheet: white numbers on a yellow/while background - a joke.
Very nice course, challenging and very secnic
The staff here was welcoming and the course met my expectations for a TPC venue. I played as a single and was paired with a very nice 3 some who were on a replay and was familiar with the layout. A very enjoyable afternoon.
Very challenging course
If you are more than a 14 handicap or can't drive the ball at least 250 yds I suggest playing from the white tees. You will enjoy your round much more. I generally shoot below 90 and can drive it 230 - 240 but this course from the gold tees was kicking my behind.
The good, the bad and the ugly
The course was in great shape and represented an Arthur Hills design at its best with risk reward options, and fast undulating greens with multiple tiers. The setting is visually stunning as well.
That was the good - the bad was the unfortunate cart partner I was paired with through golfnow. A young man who was quite hung over from the night's partying, who turned out to be ill tempered, ill mannered and lacking in all manner of basic golf etiquette.
The ugly was his decision to break his iron over his knee on hole 15 after shanking yet another iron shot.
Regrettably, my first experience at a TPC course included one of my worst partnering experiences through golfnow.
Average Course
The course is nice and well maintained.
That said, it's not the most scenic course as it is located deep in bush/swamp country.
I've played for 50 years, this course would be in my top 3.
Played on a perfect weather day and the course was in great condition. The greens keepers were out in force and everything was in great shape. Tall grasses and water took their share of errant shots, but the fairways were sufficiently wide that good shots were rewarded. Next time I play the course I will move one tee back.
Good condition greens especially. Beautiful landscaping.
Very good course challenging but fair. Landscaping well done and greens and fairways maintained.
