Very short, but fun. Good for your short game.
Stunning wooded track. Very natural setting with strategically placed sand traps. Greens are moderately quick even when covered with dew. Players do not repair divots and ball marks which to me is typical of an inner- city track but a shame just the same. Try the hot dogs..........awesome.
Not a bad par 3
I heard some knocks against this course since it wasn't in the best part of town, but the Washington Golf Learning Center, all in all, was not a bad course. All of the fairways and greens were lush and green.
Bunkers make the par 3 slightly challenging, greens are fast, and out of bounds usually means a lost ball due to wetlands around the course.
Great course to work on your iron game
This course is a par 29. Only able to pull the driver out of the bag on 1 hole. Very challenging for your iron work. Bunkers are greenside on every hole and a few fairway bunkers as well. Excellent course to take beginning, youth and lady golfers.
good par 3 course
This course is fun to play. work on iron play if you are good off the tee w/ driver already
This is good enough if you are living around
Great except for short distance but it is good for practice and women.
Too Slow
Play was very slow. I stood on the 1st tee waiting for a Dad and his son to finish the par 3. The son hit the ball at least 15 times, and he stood over each shot taking practice swing after practice swing. I almost quit before I started. Finally, on number 3, they let me through. I quickly caught a foursome of adults. I don't think they've ever played golf before. Frankly they weren't playing today either. I don't know what they were doing. I got through them on 7. The course was in great condition with very fast greens and well-defined fairways. I was very happy when I wasn't waiting for 10 minutes to play EVERY shot.
Great learning center
A par 29 course great for the beginner or someone looking to work on their short game. best public practice facility around.
