Best 9 hole in DFW
A fantastic 9 hole par 3 course. Great layout. Fantastic staff. They even have all the practice facilities: driving range, putting green, chipping green, and a practice bunker. And the carts are awesome! Highly recommend!
Enjoyable Course all around
Josh and the staff are great and super friendly, you feel very welcome from the moment you step into the clubhouse. The course is really fun to play and well maintained. It was my second time playing and will keep coming back, even considering it is a 30 minute drive!
Great place.to have a good time. The staff is wonderful and the facility is very nice. I had a ball.
Nice course to practice at!
Great driving range and practice greens. Joe at the front was supper helpful. Definitely coming back.
Coming up strong.
Definitely a great course to work on a variety of different shots as this course definitely has some challenging shots. For a great quick, nine holes you can’t beat the price or the hospitality from the staff. It’s definitely coming along amazing. It’s under new management who interacts with the customers and is always making sure everything is taken care of stuff at the front desk was amazing and helpful. As for the course the new golf carts are great the features on them allows you to plug-in play and enjoy your time on the course. One or two holes have some patches on the green, but they’re pretty far from the hole. The training spaces definitely were got me the driving range the practice bunker as well as the putting green all amazing for people who are new to golf and even been playing a couple of years. We bought some guys from out of town with us and things to this course they are hooked, lol thank you to the staff for your hospitality and can’t wait for the future of this course. New management you’re doing an amazing job.
Carts and golf are awesome
Josh Stuckey ( Ops Manager) introduced me to the new "Texas 9" golf carts and I was completely blown away. Golf is golf depending on your game, but these carts included: Bluetooth , Water-proof speakers (2), Lithium battery for smooth and noise free travel, Mutli-USB ports and soft leather seats and believe it or not - with racing wheels! All in all , along with great weather and the most accommodating staff, this was - bar none the best draw I could have received on a Sunday morning. Not to mention the free drinks. Way to go Josh!!
Fun course
Had a fun time with my friends golfing at Texas 9. Went to the range, practiced putting, played 9 holes and rented a cart all for a reasonable price.
Great course for price
Brought my brother who is new to golf and had a great time. Greens need a little work but overall great. New golf carts were awesome! Great course if your new to the game or want to work on your short game.
Course is in rough shape
I went to Texas 9 for my first time last week. The “clubhouse” isn’t labeled and is a multipurpose building which can make it confusing to know where to go if you’re unfamiliar. The staff was friendly and helpful. Paid $12 for a small basket of range balls. The golf cart was new and nice. Just a heads up though - in the reservation it says the cart is included in the price. It is NOT. In fact it’s an additional $30. I was in a rush so I didn’t have a choice but to pay it, but I wish I would’ve know beforehand. I’m glad I had the cart though because it’s a pretty good distance so if you’re walking bring your walking shoes. The greens are in TERRIBLE shape. Uneven with holes throughout and dead grass on almost every green. It’s nice if you have an issue with your putts going long because you definitely don’t have to worry about that. I was very disappointed by the course conditions. It layout was fun and challenging though. I definitely wouldn’t say it’s beginner friendly, as many holes are around the water. Overall 2 stars. It would be worth it if the cart price was included but I probably wouldn’t recommend for the price.
Texas 9 is a 10!
I've played this course several times now and I love it! It's the perfect executive 9 hole course. Don't have time for a full 18? Texas 9. Need to get a little practice in but don't want to just hit the driving range? Texas 9.
The place is under new management and the recent changes are fantastic! The new carts are the best I've ever driven on any course. They're like golf Teslas. The fairways and greens are looking good. The driving range has gotten some recent love too with new netting and more! And the price is very reasonable; even more so if you get an annual membership.
Great course!
