Calusa
Great day. Great course. Great price though golf now
Great Experience
Thanks to GolfNow, we got to play Calusa Lakes for a very reasonable price. I am retired and would never pay the outrageous rack rates that are being charged by most courses in the Venice area at this time of year. The course was in great shape -- especially the greens. We hope to be able to return to Calusa if we can secure a reasonable GolfNow rate!
Nice course
Course was excellent and was as expected. A little pricey but in the end was worth it.
Excellent greens
Course was in beautiful shape. The greens were immaculate. Nice speed. The course is very fair to high handicappers. Highly recommend playing here.
Best Condition
Played Calusa Lakes many times over the past years, pretty sure it’s conditions are what they were back in “96” kudos to the new owners and their team.. All is good at Calusa!
Don't move your cart!
Or the starter will scold you! Carry your needed clubs to the range and putting green. I learned the hard way driving it to the putting green. I apologized but he still wanted to be angry. Must be having a bad day. Otherwise, golf was fine. Good tee boxes and greens. Fairways were ok, traps in nice shape. 4 hour pace was fine.
Repeat Customer
Played the course for the second time in less than 2 weeks and drove 1.5 hours - enough said.
Great layout and very good conditions. Driver friendly and nice greens. Only complaint from our group is that we never saw the beverage cart.
Course is in great shape
Course was amazing! In great shape. Beverage cart was slow and the Course need to do better with the prices. Beverage manager needs to either be priced or run similar specials as the sister courses.
Highly recommend
Nice course, not overly challenging as not a lot of water hazards and fairways are pretty open.
Great golf at Calusa Lakes
Loved our round at Calusa Lakes. We played here 2 years ago while visiting the area and we were looking forward to play again. The round played yesterday lived up to our expectations. The staff was very friendly and the course was in great condition. We'll look forward to playing again!
Well worth the drive
First time playing Calusa Lakes and it was a long drive (from Cape Coral), but well worth the effort. The tees and fairways are in great condition, but the greens are even better.
