4 holes with water hazards... In a racetrack?
I once played the golf course inside the racetrack at Bay Meadows in San Mateo California. But that was a long time ago. So, I don't have a lot of Race Track Golf Course experience to draw from outside of this golf course.
In the last year-and-a-half I have played this course numerous times and find the most challenging part the fact that there are four holes that deal with the two water hazards that are on the course. Other than that it is a very friendly course to the beginner not many trees and even if you hit into another Fairway you can recover easily back to the whole you were playing.
I also find the practice facilities here to be exceptional. Particularly the chipping and pitching green.
Compact, level and open. In excellent shape.
Wonderful course for beginning or older golfers who don't want a terribly long course, pull or carry your clubs. Practice green, covered driving range, practice area for pitching onto the green, 9 very well kept and mowed holes with two ponds, several sand traps, few trees, some benches. Very reasonable rates.
