Decent course can't say the same for the staff
My experience with this course started out a little rough. I had a late afternoon tee time. I was a single just looking to get some swings in and literally was the only one at course. Guy running the register was put off cause I was not in "proper golf attire". I was not wearing a collared shirt...but I also was not horribly dressed. I had on golf pants and a plain t shirt. After a lecture on what proper golf attire was he asked me to buy a collared shirt. When I said no....he scoffed and said "I'll let you on this time". Gee thanks. The starter was great. I told him my story and he rolled his eyes. As for the course itself....it's solid. Greens were well groomed. Fairways were dry...but didn't really matter being an executive course. Price was fair. I would recommend....just dress "appropriately" 😉
Fun in the Sun
Great course! Very challenging, especially the front nine — wonderful experience
Nice Challenge
Par 62, layout is fun for an executive course. Plenty of shorter par 4, plenty of long par 3 also. You can use every club in your bag. Better players will get their short game tested on each hole.
Not bad for a short Course
Greens were very quick. Hard chipping around the greens because the grass is pretty sparse this time of year. Fun course to enjoy the fresh air.
Friendly Staff, Course in Rough Shape
The staff from start to finish at the course were friendly and great.
That's about the end of the positives.
The course is in terrible shape. Collectively probably the worst set of tee boxes I have ever seen, fairways were dead. Hitting off dirt after perfect tee shots on most of the par fours. Some of the greens were actually ok, but others felt like you were putting on concrete. Literally impossible to get the ball to stop.
Pace of play was fine. We waited a little bit on a couple holes, but all in all not bad.
We got a great deal to play, but even at that, it is hard to find much value in a course that is in such rough shape.
Slow, slow, slow
Six groups on first tee. 4 1/2 hour round with two groups on every hole. Six groups on first tee when we finally finished. This is unexceptionable for an executive course. We will not return until the time between tee times is changed from 7 minutes. Most of the patrons here are older and can’t walk from tee to green in seven minutes, never mind hitting a golf ball ten times. At least you could put out a drink cart so people can pass the time waiting, waiting, and waiting.
Needs TLC
Course not in great shape but greens really fast and challenging. Gas carts are pretty bad-seats had duct tape
