Staff is great, course condition good!
The pace of play was a little slow due to a busy day on the course. The Marshall did do her best to keep the pace going. The Pro Staff was great! And the course was in good condition. A thunderstorm caught up with us on hole 16 tee box. It rained pretty hard for the next two holes. But were able to finish #18 with no rain. I would recommend this course, nice layout and great location!
Nice option in Tahoe
Scored a great deal on Golf Now. Crowded course on a Tuesday afternoon. Near 5 hour round.
Solid option in South Lake Tahoe where there aren’t many good choices. For a mountain course it surprisingly flat with no elevated tee boxes. Greens are fast but fair. Bunkers are inconsistent, some hard some soft. Fairways in great shape.
I’d book it again but not at full price.
Excellent course - well worth a visit
If in the Tahoe area then I recommend you play this course.
The course condition plus the amazing scenery make this a great visit. Where else do you have a coyote wander past you when on the green?
This was my first visit but I will play here again any time I am visiting Tahoe.
Nice Course
The course is in excellent shape, the best that I have in seen in years. Would recommend!
Excellent condition
This course is in excellent condition, would recommend
Fun and challenging course
It was my first time playing Lake Tahoe Golf Course. The staff was friendly and we got off on time. I played with two locals who let me know what to expect and where to aim my shots. Somme holes were open, but quite a few required a Strategic shot in order to be in position to get on the green. We move along well and finished in 4 hours. I hope to get back to play again sometime.
Scenic views and horrible pace of play
Course was in great shape and the views were nice. Loved how flat the course was and how some holes were challenging. One problem I had was my game took more than 5 hours long. I wish there was a Marshall to enforce the pace of play. For 10 holes, we were always stuck with 2 other groups. Turns out, there was a bachelor party going on that got to rowdy and was playing with their shirts off. Nobody cared and the pro shop never addressed it. Not a good impression on how I wanna come back. However I'll give it another chance because of the views and challenges
Good choice in Tahoe
Not many public options in the South Lake Tahoe area so I played here for the first time. The course is a heavily wooded parkland layout on a flat piece of land. A lot of dog legs. Not super tough but no cupcake either. Greens are in great shape.. I thought being a mountain course it would have some elevation changes but not so. Still it has some amazing views of the surrounding mountains and is visually very appealing. Pace of play is slow due to high demand for tee times with few other options in the area.
Overall a solid track and enjoyable day. I booked another tee time already.
Challenging and fun
Course well maintained. Challenging course with lots of water hazards and elevation changes. Gorgeous mountain and forest views. Great friendly service. Would love to play again
Not worth the money….
We chose to play this course because it was close to where we are staying. We are all for keeping up the pace of play but teeing off on a Wednesday morning and being rushed to finish under 4 hours is ridiculous. Being charged $100/person is crazy for the course/quality you’re playing. “Edgewood” standards for just a local municipal course. From now on we will continue to drive to Carson City which is 45 minutes away just to play golf, to avoid playing here again.
Great Views
Very nice course. Fairly windy the day we played. Awesome views of the mountains around Lake Tahoe...
