Straight fairways with a couple of doglegs. Reasonable amount of water. Super friendly staff.
Good value
Friendly staff. Course was crowded, but we finished in just over 4 hours. Greens were in pretty good shape, fairways were somewhat sparse, but it was an enjoyable round of golf for the price.
Terrible course
$45 to play the worst course I’ve ever played. The course is in terrible shape. WAY over-priced for what it is. Picture of fairway shown.
Course Getting Better
The course condition continues to improve despite it still being "snowbird" season here. The round included lunch for $53, good selection of sandwiches and a beverage. Usually a round is $38-$44. Still need a ranger to monitor play.
Rolling Green 2
Course layout is good, not too difficult. Course condition should be better as many of the greens are bare in places, rutted in places and in need of repair. Fairways very from moist to dry but are open in places and tight in others. The price charged is not warranted even including a luncheon. Lunch gave us an acceptable number of choices. The BLT was very good. And the personnel was very cordial.. The front nine was easier. Make it count.
Don't Play This Course!!!
If I could have given this course a zero star rating I would have. The miserable course conditions are only the start. Add to that incompetent people in the Pro Shop and top it off with sprinklers going off in the middle of the day while people are playing on the course. I wouldn't go back if they paid me to play there.
Good value
Course condition in fair condition, price and ammenties well work it . Where else can you get 18 holes of golf/ food and drink for this price
2nd Time
Returning player here. High handicap as well. Course is in good shape and a value at the price that included lunch and a beverage. Play however was extremely slow as the 2some in front of our 4some appeared to be new golfers. We were among the first 12 on the course this AM (0738 tee time) and it took us over 4 hours to finish 18 compared to the last outing started at 10 am that took 3+ hours. Could use a ranger on the course to speed play.
Simple course, good value
if your looking for a good course, this is not for you. If your looking just to play a course, and get great value.then go. Course is not great condition, not really challanging. If your just out to play this is for you. Great Value ... 44 plus tax and charge for 18 w/cart,lunch and a drink... really cant beat it anywhere...
Course is playable, but needs work
My first time playing at Rolling Green. It's a nice layout any very playable for golfers of any skill level, but like many courses in the Sarasota area, it isn't well kept. The fairways have too many bare spots and many of the greens are not in the best shape. The pace of play was going (under 4 hours) and the price is in line with the course conditions.
It’s ok
Plenty of garbage around the course . Broken signs, damaged grass on fare way , damaged green , etc .
But it’s an easy course at low budget. .
