Great practice
Wonderful way to practice your short game. Love seeing the diversity of players on this course.
Beautifully maintained greens.
Dads and sons
Arroyo Seco has a special place in all our hearts . It is a fabulous place !!!
Wonderful 18-hole Par 3 Course!
This is the perfect little 18-hole par 3 course. For the price, you honestly can't beat it in Los Angeles. The greens are in perfectly good enough condition, certainly better than you'd expect at this price point. The course is a fun layout with short Par 3s ranging from 50 yards to 130. Great place to work on your short game. Has a couple water features but no bunkers. Will definitely keep coming back. Only downside is that the café is never open when we're there and the pace can be slow on the front 9 depending on the day. The back 9 is usually quick. But those are minor, again especially at this price point. Also has a nice driving range that's great to warm-up on with targets and objects to aim at.
Fine Round
Lots of fun. Course is kinda easy, but it always reminds you you’re playing golf. Nice folks run the place.
So fun
A wonderful way to practice your short game. We are
Member of a private club in the area and Arroyo Seco’s greens are in better shape than ours.
Hot day, yet the beautiful palm trees made it more bearable
Always enjoy coming here to play. Hard to find balls though where the grass has not been trimmed, but I always enjoy the grounds. Perfect for a newbie like me!
Terrible value. Way to expensive
$25 for 9 holes? Not competitive with any of the other local courses. Not nearly enough golf for the money
Cut 2-5 strokes off your game at this pretty little course!
I love playing here. It has various distances for Par 3s. It’s also 18 holes so you will get plenty of practice on hitting your various wedges with full swings, 3/4, and 1/2 swings. You will also get some pretty good putting practice as the greens are all sloped and we’ll kept. This place is a great place to cut 3-5 strokes off your game if you squeeze in an occasional round.
Great par 3
This is usually a great course to play but currently under repair and some of the amenities are closed , the cafe and bar have not reopened since they closed during COVID-19 and the driving range is currently closed due to repairs but still not a bad place to play. I'm hoping they reopen the restaurant soon because it was always a great place to eat even when you don't play the course
Mostly very enjoyable
I have only one glaring issue: too many golfers now feel entitled to use this enjoyable course as their private driving range and/or putting practice green.
I’ve been a victim of watching rude golfers hit four to six balls hit off the Tee, even with myself or others waiting behind them. Adding insult to injury, they then play all of them! An extra ball with no-one behind you may be fine, but please, how rude and disrespectful can you get?
My suggestion, put a large sign at the first Tee:
PLEASE BE COURTEOUS. DO NOT USE THE COURSE AS YOUR PRIVATE DRIVING RANGE AND/OR PUTTING PRACTICE GREEN WHEN OTHER GOLFERS ARE BEHIND YOU.
TA
Great wedge practice.
Target golf - especially if you want pars - pin placements, despite postage stamp size greens, could have you pulling your hair out!
Not what I remembered- but enjoyed the course.
The course is well maintained and the staff professional and friendly. Only issue was I grew up playing golf there and did not recognize the place.
Currently with the cafe closed and no Pro Shop it was sad to see this once popular golf location in this condition. Hopefully, it will return to its splendor one day.
