Early Spring Golf
Overall, the course is "fun" and challenging but low-handicappers might find it boring. The most challenging holes are #4 from the back tee. #9 requires a really good drive in order to have a good second shot. #13 Par 3, when playing the longer of the two holes, requires at least 215 yard straight shot to land on the green.
I play the course 5 to 7 times a year on average throughout the year at different times of day. I know the course and the expected conditions quite well. First off, I recommend rent a cart if you're not in any shape to walk. And if you walk, I recommend using a pull/push cart. For the course, if you want ideal conditions, I recommend playing from May to September, with "best" conditions being from June to mid-September.
The staff is always friendly and courteous. Club house is very basic . . . they have beer, soft drinks, hot dogs, coffee, and snacks and some basic merchandise like balls, shirts, gloves, hats, etc.
The practice and warm-up areas are adequate but there's a short-game area down the road east of the club house.
Wet fairways, but greens were good and firm.
Despite having water on the paths and some muddiness on the hillsides, the greens were surprisingly firm. This is a tough course, but I love the challenge every time I play it.

Best Value
I love this course. It’s a nice layout, challenging yet playable. Kept in good condition. Handles the winter weather better than most.. Excellent practice areas. Almost always the best value for the money. The course does have a bunch of valleys, so lots of up and down walking. Better be in shape or get a cart. There is a point where it feels like you play the same hole 3 times in a row. But mostly the course is muy bueno.

Good course / don’t walk
Enjoyed playing but it kind if ate our lunch! Up and down a million times - tough walk. Lost some balls with a few holes that felt slightly unfair off the tee. But overall solid track.

It's got one of the best practice facilities you'll find anywhere as well as a fun layout and good course conditions.

Great course with fun holes!
For mid February, course was in great shape, especially the greens.

The course is in great shape. Fairways, greens and tee boxes were all mowed and maintained despite recent rains and cold weather in the middle of December.
