Improved Course
I last played here 4 years ago and was pleased to see that the course conditions have improved. It was definitely worth the money.
Friendly atmosphere
Staff are some of the friendliest in town. Greens had been sanded, but course still played well. Feels good to play.
The greens was punched and was not notified before paying for the tee time
Not Bad
Course is nice with some hills not bad tho , cart paths little rough , but overall in good shape , They also have restaurant which is good .
Bad Timing
I really like this course unfortunately they had just plugged and sanded the greens the day before. Very thick sand to the point that when putting rooster tails happened. Bad timing to play. So greens were a bummer. Fairways and course layout are very good.
Beautiful Course, Nice staff
The staff at Capital City is probably to most courtous and friendly I have encountered in Tallahassee. The pros shop as well as the groundskeeping staff were professional and appreciated. The course itself was recovering from aeration, but was still in excellent shape. Made for a very enjoyable morning.
Good day of golf
Very efficient and welcoming staff. Greens had been punched and sanded within the last few days, so there were some “ bumpy” rolls. Nice terrain, good fairways, undulating greens. Very nice course.
Wednesday June 9
They had just punched the greens and sanded them yesterday and day before. Lots of sand and bumpy as you might imagine. No information on this at time of booking.
All tee boxes unmarked as they were being sanded today. Thankfully we were familiar with course and teed off where we thought we should.
Finally, pace of play slow today. We were a threesome who waited every hole on another threesome who waited on another threesome. Round of golf took over 4 hours.
Tried to get a sandwich in restaurant after round but could never get anyone to take our order while sitting outdoors.
I love the layout and course conditions will improve with rain just very disappointing today. Would not have scheduled had I know.
This course is in awesome shape!
Best shape this course has ever been in. Greens were pristine!
Beautiful hilly course
Terrific layout; very good greens and fairways. A beautiful spot for golf. My favorite course in Tallahassee.
