Good
2nd time played and brought 2 guys with me. Well taken care of and the high grass in the sides is nice touch. Helps separate from other holes. Would be nice to expand another par 3 to a 4 but you prob don’t have space.
Great for playing 9 holes of golf
I play this coarse alot, it's a fun, but challenging 9 holes of golf. It's great for a quick round, but has traps and water hazards that are challenging. And at the 7th hole, depending upon the time of day, you might get to see police or fire departments training next door!
Beautiful course
A beautiful, well-maintained, picturesque course. For me it was a little short but if you're not a long hitter It's a Wonderful nine holes. Having said that, I will probably play it again.
Glenview Prairie - Interesting 9-Hole Short Course From Rick Jacobson
The Good: 9-Hole, Par-31 short course designed by local Rick Jacobson, Glenview Prairie is a good option if you only have a couple hours to play or don't have enough cash in your wallet for the adjacent Glen Club. Consisting of 5 Par-3's & 4 relatively short Par 4's, it is in really good shape and the green contours are interesting enough. Nice clubhouse with full bar/restaurant, as well as decent putting green. The staff is nice and do their best to keep the pace of play moving along.
The Bad: Many of the regulars show up unannounced without tee times, which can cause some pace of play issues for someone like me who booked a tee time. At $29 w/ cart for 9-holes on a short course, it is pretty overpriced. The Par 3’s, while nice, are all relatively the same distance. I would have hoped for a couple of longer Par 3’s to mix it up a little bit. No driving range is a bummer.
The Verdict: Glenview Prairie is a solid option for younger players and seniors. It has much of the design charm of a typical Jacobson course, but subdued due to its target audience and length. There are, however, several other traditional length 9-hole courses that are far better for the money.
Best Hole: The Par-4 6th hole is the most interesting drive on the course, which requires a fade around a large fairway bunker & then approach to the most undulating green on the course.

Great Tune Up Course
We really enjoyed our time on the course. The staff was very friendly! It is a great course to tune up your game, but beware of the high grass that borders the fairways. They love to steal balls! Great value for the money!
Juniors stay away
Took my 3 young kids out for a fun night with Dad on the course. Well turns out that they don't let more then 2 in a cart, fine the 9 year old and the 7 can walk. Oh but wait my 4 year old who is basically there only for the cart will cost another $10. No thanks all in would have cost $86 at 6 o'clock on a Tuesday night. I said no thanks and won't be back ever.
Try growing the game with junior golfers
One of the best 9 hole courses around. Great value. Course - tee boxes, fairways, greens well maintained. While it's really best for irons and hybrids, a couple holes will accommodate big hitters. Overall can be challenging for even good players due to narrow fairways, small greens and green guarding bunkers.
Well maintained 9 holer
One of best kept 9 hole courses and a couple fun holes long enough for drivers.
What other 9 hole golf courses do you recommend in the area?
