Beautiful course
Beautiful course, nice staff and in good shape. We played after heavy rain and some holes did not drain well but overall a great public course.
Enjoyable golf
Very enjoyable and playable course. Course was in good condition and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. No complaints at all. Will definitely play again.
Very Nice
Course was in very good shape. There were few wet spots, and carts were hardly even restricted to the paths. I can see how the course could be windy, but today it was welcome due to the high temps. Will definitely play again.
Fun tract
W Bridgewater CC is a fun round of golf. A number of holes make you think on your tee shot, not just grab your driver. I only hit driver on 4 holes. Course is in great shape despite the drought. Definitely worth the money every time I play there.
Dump
Just played this "Country Club" and Man- has it gone downhill. Majority of the Fairways were soggy and wet - and we are in the middle of a Drought !! All were littered with Divots and show really poor maintenance ... most Bunkers had "concrete"-hard packed sand. No Rangers to monitor play - took a ridiculous 5+ hours to get through the place. Geese have overrun the place and their droppings are everywhere - Gross! I complained to a Course Rep and his attitude was so unprofessional and condescending - "Welcome to New England Golf" - what an tool.
Do not waste your time with this Dump - better to go Bowling for what they charge here.
W Bridgewater CC
Course is in ok shape considering how hot it has been in the NE. This course has very thick and unforgiving rough and beyond. If it is out of the rough it is likely unplayable due to dense growth and marshy conditions. Pace of play was extremely slow even for a Sunday. There were so many groups in the relatively open portion of the the course that there was a constant echoing of FORE! We felt like we were in a shooting gallery at times. The geese have overtaken at least 3 holes and their accompanying debris makes putting interesting on those holes after you have to herd them out of the way to get to the greens. Decent course but be prepared to lose a few balls even in the marshy rough. No food was available at the turn when we were there except candy bars and drinks. 2 kids working the bar but no hot dogs or sandwiches were available to purchase for a 5:00 turn.
West Bridgewater
Last time I played this course it was still called River Run. Great layout that requires shot management. Lots of carry. You need to think and stay focused when playing the course. I will be back when I return to the area.
West Bridgewater
Played this course more than 10 years ago. Had the opportunity to play it on a recent trip to the area. Tough course with lots of carry. Requires patience and course management. Love the layout and conditions were excellent even though it was cart path only.
good conditions
the greens were the best I have seen in recent years and the course was in great shape.
Lush fairways with vista.
This golf course won’t let you down. Each hole is individual from no adjacent fairways. Easy access to carts to get set up. The only thing missing is sand buckets fior the carts. Golf professional was very friendly which added to the overall experience. Thank you.
