Always Mantained
For this time of year the course was in excellent playing condition. Overall the putting surfaces were fast and green, the fairways are dormant but cut well to allow the ball to set up on spongy grasses. The tee boxes appear to have been over seeded with rye therefore they are mostly green as well. Enjoyably outing at one of the areas better courses. Go play!
This course has great views
Nice course, challenged but not to difficult. Have a book with all the distance and the course.
This is a great course. Always great shape
I always enjoy this course. Have to play it every time I am in the area. I especially give thumbs up to the cart girls. Thank you girls!!! You girls looked great this weekend! :)
greens are always challenging here and in excellent shape.
Played here on Saturday. Course was packed because of the great weather. Pace slow, but not to fault of staff. Conditions were excellent. Greens are always challenging - slope must be thought through on your approach shot. Bunkers were in very good shape as well with sand that is appropriate for a quality course. A fun day.
Very nice bent grass greens that rolled true.
Challenging course with smallish greens. Greens are quite undulating. Bermuda rough was dense. Traps were well maintained.
Fun course to play for all skill levels. Par 3's are varied and have great scenery.
Great course design. The greens were in great shape.
This was my first time playing this course and I think it's one of the better courses I've played in the area. The fairways and greens were well maintained and some of the holes have great views of the nearby river. I will making this one of my regular stops. The practice area was also very good.
This course has pace of play problems
Riverfront golf course is nestled between a community of very large homes. While the course has some interesting and challenging holes, the houses are too close to the course on many holes. Played there on Veterans Day and the course was very crowded with too many foursomes. The play time was very slow which made this round one of the worst I’ve had this season.
Tough greens...!
Long course with tough greens, very challenging..! but fun to play
Excellent design
excellent design - luv the bunkering off the tee and greens
A great course to play and enjoy the game if your a beginner or low handicapper.
The staff was friendly and courteous. I walked up to the counter and he told me who i was and my tee time before I even said anything. That's customer service. The course was a blast to play. I had heard good things about it and it did not disappoint. Being a beginner of 7 months i wanted a course that was challenging but not overwhelming. It delivered. (white tees of course) Good course conditions, rate of play, and just plain fun!!!
Nice course...greens need work
For my first time experience, I walked in the pro shop, where there was only one employee who was on the phone for 10 minutes while I waited to pay my green fees. Another gentleman golfer walked in about 5 minutes after me and was also waiting. When the employee got off the phone, he greeted the gentleman golfer by name (a member, I'm sure) and proceeded to help him out first. Not good. Unprofessional. Dismissive. Rude. But the gentleman golfer was courteous and reminded the employee that I was there prior to him. The employee offered no information for a first time guest. There was no starter. The pace of play was painfully slow and there was no ranger to keep things in check. There was no beverage cart. The greens had more ball marks t han I cared to play around. I liked the course. I liked the green fees. A couple of fixes and this could be a first rate course.
This course will present opportunities for a good round.
Excellent fairways. Not a bad lie anywhere. Rough is not brutal. Not a flat putt anywhere on the course. Course can be very enjoyable.
great course
this course has great scenery everywhere. This course has some holes that play extremely long into the wind and others that play very short, but each hole has risk/reward built into it. Challenging greens make for some interesting putts.
