Great Course!
Good pace of play and a good challenge of a course. Amidst the COVID-19 restrictions the staff were very accommodating.
Beautiful Course!
I golfed at this course during a work tournament. The location is breathtaking! I am an average skilled golfer and I found some of the holes challenging, although I am not a pro so I can't speak for the golfers that have more experience than myself. I am 100% coming back to this gorgeous course. Friendly staff as well.
FANTASTIC PARKLAND STYLE LAYOUT
I absolutely love golf courses where the ambiance of the course is as good as it’s architecture. The long road way that takes you down into the valley where the golf course sits, truly does represent the laid-back and gorgeous setting you are about to play play golf in.
This Bill Newis layout is absolutely fantastic and a great challenge from the Tips.......as well as being very playable from the intermediate and beginner tees.
The tree lined fairways and immaculate greens are always some of the best in the city, and I always look forward to playing it every year.
If you haven’t played here make every effort to do so!
Recovered nicely, in terrific shape
Cottonwood was hit hard by the flooding of 2013 and has been rebuilding ever since. I'm pleased to report that the course is in the best condition ever. The greens are all in good or better shape and the fairways lush. The flower gardens are perfect. The course itself is quite challenging with narrow fairways, although sometimes adjoining other fairways making stray balls an occasional hazard. A great practice facility and friendly staff make this private club's golfnow access the best deal in the area
Waited Another 21 years to play again
A luxurious course that's now available to the public on Gnow. The trees of lore were tooth picks but now in full bloom. It's so quiet here the animals make it sound like a zoo. Extremely easy walk but don't play the blues if you aren't a 7 handi cap. Located beside a world famous fishing river SE of Calgary, study the map and follow the good blue signs. Hard to loose a ball here except on the Island green shot.
