decent track

This course is well worth the money. Conditions were average. It is a very challenging course. Narrow, elevated tee boxes. Greens were tough to read. Located in a quiet area and out of the city which I love. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The carts though don't have the windshields so if it's windy and rainy might want to dress warm.

Terrible staff and management on this mediocre 18.

This course is recommended to anyone who is looking to save a few dollars. Anyone choosing to play this course must also be willing to put up with intolerant, rude, and completely disrespectful owner and staff.
My two groups were falsely accused and verbally accosted because they thought we were slowing play and golfing as a 5. The reality was they paired two 65+ age groups in front of us; a 30+ three and two group respectively. At one point there were 9 people waiting on hole 7 as the four 65+ group looked for balls 100 yards from the black tees after their 50 yard drives from the females tees. Beaver Dam's Marshall waited for us at hole 10 and blamed us for slowing down the course. He used a 8/10 yelling voice and told us to " listen and not talk". after continuously yelling at us for five mins, he then threatened to call the police to escort us off the course. Top off the incident, after trying to sneak around and watch the rest of our round. The same marshal met us again after to offer us a bag of chips as compensation for getting yelled at. No apology.
Club house isn't much better. Gripes and moans on any customer service requirement or anything extra you might want to ask for.
Cafeteria is like Seinfeld soup kitchen. Say your order loudly and move aside to the left. other wise they are going to make you feel bad for politely waiting to be helped.
Course is some what taken care of, I did see some maintenance to the tee boxes.. Most of the course has irrigation problems causing huge unmarked water traps, slow fairways and partially flooded greens.
The hour and a half drive from Calgary isn't worth the 20$ you save on the round. I will never golf here again.
