Good Times

I've been to Oxbow a few times this year. I actually got hooked on golf after playing in a memorial tournament out there in May and I've been a number of times since to work on my game. Good course for beginners like me but my friends that have been playing for much longer have enjoyed it as well. Some of the fairways are not in the greatest condition or you'll find spots where there might be a dirt pile or something along those lines might be there. Relaxed atmosphere and really friendly staff. I'd highly recommend for someone who is learning and the pressure of fast pace can be discouraging as you don't feel that here. The fact that it's off a country road is hugely appealing, nice a quiet!! Worth the drive from Calgary just to escape the noisy city courses.

Smoky day at Oxbow

The course is just 9 holes, but they are decent. Friendly staff. I paired up with a local golfer.

Great course

First time here and were pleasantly surprised overall. At first glance you think it's not challenging, but for the more advanced in my party they still had to work for par. Staff was awesome!

Walked

fair course

We are beginners so the thick rough and sloughy waters made it tough if you could not keep the ball in the fairway. Not really a scenic course but can walk it easy and was in pretty good condition. Other golfers do not rake the sand traps and there were a lot of ball marks on the greens. For the price we paid, it was a good outing but would not probably play it again. No real club house for food after the round.

Unfriendly Service

Manager was always busy and scowled at any interruptions. Food prepp took over 45 minutes to get a burger.
Drinks were cold, and prompt, no problem there.

Challenging par 3's

Great 9 hole course. Good value $10.00 twilight after 6:30 walking only. Course and greens are in the best shape over the past 4 years.
