Great Course
Very friendly staff great course and excellent condition. Will play again.
Something for Every Skill Level
The course was in great shape! Definitely has a good mix of easy and hard holes. Great condition. Friendly proshop staff. Only negative was the Marshall was giving our group trouble for playing slow on the 16th hole but there was a group of 4 ladies in front of us we were waiting for on every hole. Not much we could do.
Course in tremendous shape
Course in great shape. Greens in mid summer shape with no winter kill.
Good shape
Course is in good shape for this early in the season especially the greens. One negative is the poor job that was done with placing the holes, a number of them had damaged edges & most of the edges were crowned. It appears that they were not properly tamped.
Good early season conditions and a Great deal from Golf Now!
The course is in great early season condition. The greens are a little slow, but to be expected. Of course the weather co-operated which also helped make the day a success. The hot deal I booked allowed us to play at half the cost of other open courses in the area. Will be back real soon if I can match the time with the deal again!!

Best bang for your buck
Great course for the price. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The pace of play was a little slow when i was there but that's to be expected on a Saturday afternoon. I'll definitely be back
Great course condition
Beautiful day, greens are in great shape excited to see new changes to the course. This course is only going to get better.
Enjoyable round!
Great early fall conditions. Walkable course. A bit short - I'm not a long hitter but would still recommend playing the tips as there's a number of holes I was hitting iron or 5 wood off the tees.
Staff are very friendly.
LFriendly and very accommodating. Greens are very challenging. Course in excellent condition and the fall colours are gorgeous!
Nice course
Nice course but very slow play this is second time I played and it took close to 5 hours. I don't think I will be back
Late season golf
Decided to play Strathmore due to the outstanding Golfnow deal. Hadn't played here for about 6-7 years. Still a great track for a prairie town. Course has a wide variety of holes...nothing repetitive. Greens are interesting and receptive to good shots. As it was late in the season, they were a bit shaggy, but wadda want for $15?? I have played many way more expensive courses which are poorer or equivalent. The front nine is the older nine and plays a bit longer. The back nine has quite a few great risk and reward opportunities. I found the back in better shape and quite fun. Head out there, it's well worth the trip.
Recommended
A friend suggested that I try this course. It was a 40 minute drive from my home but more than worth it. I golf in a men's league and could only wish that our course was in the condition Strathmore is. I will definitely golf there again and the prices are excellent. I will strongly recommend this course
Excellent
The course is in really nice shape this year green and plush. The pace of play is perfect. Only waited on a few t boxes. But outher than that it was great. The course marshals keep things going and are very friendly as well as all the golfers on the course. I play here at least once a week and my wife and I really enjoy the course and people. The greens are the best in Alberta as they advertise. We will be back.
