Tilden Park Golf Course

Great fun layout, but frustrating because when you book your tee time here through Golf Now you would think a golf cart is included in the price but that is not the case… this is an incredibly hilly and fairly long golf course that should absolutely have a cart included in the green fee instead they charge you another 16$ for a cart when you arrive, making the whole price not really worth it in my humble opinion.. Love the layout and the course itself. Tee Boxes, bunkers, and fairways were good. Greens slow and long. Buddy is playing in a tournament there soon, and I hope they quicken them up before then.

Groups of children and skins players should be planned early or late in the day to improve the far below average pace of play. Bare spots around greens and in the fairway make the course unacceptable.

The greens were like playing on plush carpet they were so slow. Felt like I would have been better off putting with my 5 wood. No phone on 9th tee to order food, an it took almost 20min to get a hot dog and Pepsi. After the round ended at about 4pm we were going to have a beer and sit down on the deck, but the whole thing was locked up. On a weekday I would understand, but not a holiday weekend.

My friends and I played Tilden on a stunning winter day. We love the environment but were surprised by the poor condition of the course. Warning to those who go to Tilden- absolutely do NOT park in the upper lot. My catalytic converter was stolen in broad daylight while we played. I won’t be back.

Unfortunately when I showed up to pay my green fees there was a cart fee that wasn’t mentioned within the online golf now app. Disappointing when showing up to the course. It was not a big deal however, lesson learned is double check your itinerary. This was not the courses issue as they were sure to point out to me. The staff clearly is not happy with the association with golf now which lends me to never recommend this course. The course was not in good shape however, the greens were in great condition. I wouldn’t recommend this facility based on the staff and the way they handled the situation. Definitely a course you want headphones on….

We arrived and our Golf Now reservations for two made over a week ago, were not in their system and so they squeezed us in with a different group 40 minutes late. Then they charged us much more(46) than the rate we had through Golf Now(35). But that wasn't the worst of it. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting. Filthy with garbage all over the floors spilling outside the bathroom area. It honestly looked like the toilets had not been cleaned in over 2 months, that's right months. There was a thick brownish dust on the men's urinals. It smelled bad. Some dad sent his 6 year old son into the bathroom by himself and I was terrified that the kid would touch something and get sick. I steered him toward the sink to wash his hands. Really gross. What happened? this place used to be so nice.
